I asked for a banana bread matcha with light ice and soy milk. What I received is below, major clump’s of matcha powder everywhere in the drink and half the cup filled with ice. Since they can’t read the sticker I couldn’t even trust that it was made with soy milk so I had to discard anyways.

I have been coming to this location almost daily since it opened. I love dining in and watching how much fun the Baristas have while doing their jobs. They are very friendly, attentive and enjoy what they do. The service is fast and the coffee is even better when you dine in and get a ceramic cup. Feels like home! The current Manager is so loved by her team and she has impeccable people skills. I’ve sat and visited with so many people who say the same thing. Even our local High school boys meet there to share time together before school. Kudos to everyone at this store.

The staff at this Starbucks are so friendly and care about their customers. It’s so much more than just the coffee or the menu items. It’s the experience…the atmosphere. Whether driving through or coming inside they work so hard to not only deliver what you ordered in a timely way but to make sure they ask about your day as well. This location is the best in Lee’s Summit! I literally drive past other locations often to get to this one. They are my DAILY morning routine. The team consistently provides amazing service with speed and smiles. Ive watched them while waiting on my drink and even while slammed on a Friday morning ( late start for the schools so everyone is there) they are fast, efficient and most of all an amazing group of people. They support each other ( whoever trains this crew needs a raise too).

I don’t typically write reviews, but I felt that I needed to call this out. As I sat there with my daughter waiting for our drinks. I notice how visibly frustrated this girl with thick blue eye makeup. I then noticed the others around her picked up on her frustration and it seemed to affect some of her fellow workers. I then asked a worker walking around what her title/position was, they then informed that she was a lead. I found that to be shocking. As a leader you supposed to be motivating and inspiring your team members and not pushing their frustration onto their team members. Starbucks needs to retrain the lady with thick blue eye make up to be a better leader, frankly unacceptable. Her frustration was very noticeable.

I go to all of the Starbucks in Lee’s Summit, and this one is my favorite. I especially like seeing Becky there, she is always so friendly and now recognizes me just by my voice when I go through the drive through. Highly recomend this store.
