First things first: a big shutout to the staff and in particular to Alexia, Gaia, Chiara, and Paolo. As an Italian, being received and hosted by Italian staff was really just feeling at home. They brought the essence of Italian hospitality at Lucia’s and we left feeling pampered, taken care of and with that sense of warmth which is so typical of Italian hospitality (so…well done to the owners for such a great recruitment process)!
And then the food, the ingredients are fresh and everything tasted very good. We were 5 and took different items from the menu and everything was excellent (I particularly loved my panna cotta).
Finally the atmosphere: wow! Such an elegant, yet cozy and homey place. Every detail is well placed, the art, the table arrangements, the lights…even the bathrooms are super stylish.
Lucia is a little gem and I’m definitely going again soon!

I went there for lunch. The starters were really nice, and the pizza was also very good. The second dish was not bad. And the dessert, spaghetti, ice cream with strawberries was fine, a bit overpriced to my pov.
As for the service, it really depends on which waitress you get. The one wearing white were very friendly and attentive, while the one wearing red tended to forget things. That’s something that could definitely be improved.
The waiting time between dishes was also a bit long, which made the meal feel slower than expected.
Overall, good food (especially the starters and pizza), but the service and pacing could have some improvement.

Having been to their other location (Louise Petit) multiple times and hosting our wedding dinner there, we were excited to try their new restaurant Lucia and it did not disappoint.
The service was fantastic, we were greeted by an enthusiastic and welcoming host and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a classy yet warm and lively atmosphere – it feels like a special occasion to be there.
We had the bread with tomato butter, vitello tonnato, pasta a la vodka and a pizzetta with bresaola (a special that day) and everything was extremely delicious and the dishes were served at a good pace.
We will be retuning to Lucia and Louise Petit – by far two of the best restaurants in Rotterdam.

The food was very good , Service respectfully in the background. Nice sideeffect. The girlfriend of my son forgot her rings in washing room. The were found and she get them back.

The venue and restaurant are nice but we had to wait an hour and a half for the correct food to come. Twice the wrong food was brought to the table but it was not what had been ordered. The food itself is tasty but portions are on the smaller side. I also enjoyed the lager they had.

We celebrate our anniversary at Lucia this weekend and what an amazing experience it was, our host was very charismatic and brought a feeling of cozyness from the moment we came through the door. And talking about cozy their interior is divine. By far the most beautiful restaurant in Rotterdam. The environment was warm and all of the materials from the rich and dark wooden floors to the huge pleated curtains that separate the room, all is beautifully crafted (shout out to the lemon on every table, what a conversation starter!!)
Now for the main dish (no pun intended) the food was fantastic, we ordered the surprisingly sweet and savory burrata with pieces of melon, the punchy pasta alla vodka, a dreamt, creamy, umami truffle pizzetta and the must order tiramisu. I think i don’t need more adjectives to imply the dishes were very tasty! (The were a bit under salted for my taste but they have salt and pepper at the table which was super appreciated)
Lucia is fantastic! If you are thinking about it just go! You won’t regret a second of this fantastic experience 🙂 ciao!!!

Delicious dishes with sharing concept, they were delicious! Specially the “Pasta a la Vodka” with a slightly spicy touch and the “Spaghetti” desert. The customer service was top! Serving water when the glass was empty and keeping the space clean. Also, most clients were dressed semi-formal/smart casual which is pleasant to see as it creates a fancy atmosphere. Recommend!

Wow! All I can say is, wow! We ate here this evening for the first time, exactly 4 weeks after their opening. Many restaurants at this stage are still getting into their grocer, but not Lucia. Their servers are on point: educated about the menu, attentive, inquisitive about our experience after every course, and very friendly. The food was fantastic. This is clearly going to be a heavy hitter in Rotterdam. I’ve eaten many courgette blossoms in my life, and theirs stuffed in talleggio cheese was probably the best of my life. Their fried polenta topped with steak tartar was also incredibly delicious—I’m not a tartar person, but this was one of the better tartars I’ve ever eaten. Their sourdough bread is light and airy, but crisp on the outside with a fantastic tomato compound butter, served in the shape of a cute tomato! We ended with the haricot vert and lamb shoulder, both of which were also delicious. To top it off, the decor and atmosphere is sexy, sleek, and fun. 10/10 recommend!
