Food was delicious. The price felt a bit high for a breakfast sandwich but it was packed with flavor and freshness. I am willing to return to try other options from their menu on less frequent occasions. The service was also excellent. Camille was serving me and she was wonderful.

I visited The Standard Café for breakfast, and it happened to be my birthday—which made the whole experience extra special. From start to finish, everything was wonderful. The ambience is warm and inviting, and the service was excellent—attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely friendly. When our food took a little longer, they gave us a shot to make up for it, which was such a fun and unexpected gesture. Even more surprising, the staff came out to sing happy birthday without anyone asking—it truly made me feel celebrated. The food was worth the wait, the mimosas were delicious and affordable, and the entire experience felt above and beyond. Even though I don’t live in the area, I’d happily come back again

Tried Standard Cafe in Jersey today and it was so good! I got a strawberry matcha with vanilla, caramel, and oat milk , my first time trying matcha and I’m obsessed. Had a breakfast wrap with hash brown, turkey ham, bacon, and eggs… so delicious.

The omelettes, bagel sandwiches, and potatoes were extremely tasty. And it was all delivery! The food was still really warm and tasted fresh.

Food and atmosphere was amazing. Our server, Justin, was awesome and very professional. The risotto popper is a definite must try- easily my favorite of the night next to the milanesa. Also, kudos to the bartender because that was one of the best lychee martinis I’ve ever had. Music selection from the DJ was great too.

What a gem! This place was totally worth it. I ordered the Puebla omelette and the salmon toast with poached eggs. Every single bite was filled with flavor. They have breakfast sandwiches, delicious omelets and sweet dishes too. They also have speciality coffee drinks. The prices are decent and the customer service was top notch. Street parking was available and not super hard to find. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a delicious breakfast or brunch. They have a lunch menu too. I hope to return soon and try some of their pizza!

The Newark Standard Cafe / Restaurant grasps you the moment you open its doors. Welcoming you into this homely space where the servers greet you with a smile and cool attitude. The music makes the space vibrant, can’t wait to see the live sounds happening here this summer once things really jump off it’s a perfect venue for it. I have to say I feels good and I just hope to see it last a very long time in this location. Anyway, Coffee is great!! Food is great!! Service is great!! Pricing was great!! Let’s keep it going guys, I give this location many props
