Have eaten here twice while closing roads for the railroad & at first I wasn’t sure what to expect yet I’m telling you the food was fantastic! I had a burger the first time which was freshly made & fries that were also freshly made, unlike your typical joint that has them under heat lamps begging to be bought. The 2nd time I had the pork sandwich which was incredibly HUGE… heck the bun appeared to be a midget just because the meat was so large. Was topped with lettuce, tomato, onion & mayo, hands down it was so large & so good I planned on taking half to the hotel for dinner yet by the time I realized it.. I had eaten the entire sandwich & fries. The help is friendly & served with a smile. If you’re ever cruising through Wilson, stop by & give this place a shot… you won’t be disappointed!!

Stopped here on our way through Kansas for lunch. The burgers were remarkable. Just a small off the road burger shack but the food and service were top notch. We made it a point to stop here again on the way back home.

Small hometown eatery with simple food and friendly staff and cooks. Everything is reasonably priced. Here is my huge pork tenderloin sandwich- it was delicious and real meat, not thin or processed – at only. $7.25. My limeade was not very flavorful, but the soft serve ice cream cone made up for it – delicious and creamy.

Came across this place while checking out the worlds largest Czech egg, so glad we stopped. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Great old school hamburger stand. The burgers had a great taste as well the fries. The milkshakes were thick and creamy. It was amazing how many people were coming in as we were eating, even when they were close to closing, nobody was turned away.. Obviously this place is really well known and it shows why. If we are ever in the area again, we will be stopping by.

My friend and I ventured to Wilson, KS, on a mission to purchase an old 9N tractor and decided to explore local dining options. We stumbled upon The Snack Shack, and it truly felt like a hidden gem in the heart of the town. Right from our entrance, we were greeted with a warm, welcoming smile from April, whose friendliness and professionalism were noteworthy. I ordered a cheeseburger, and it was genuinely one of the best I’ve had in quite a long while. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing by or living in Wilson. A delightful experience!

While traveling through Kansas we found a small wholesome place with family flare and small town atmosphere. Delicious! This is how a burger should taste! Get the Bacon double cheeseburger. Delicious onion rings aswell. Wife got a chicken wrap that was huge and she loved it, Great flavor. Two elderly ladies who know their way in a kitchen made the food to order. Lots of love in this Shack! So glad to experience this Snack Shack, I may never come back but wanted to let future families know to stop by. Open since 1962

We decided to pay a visit to this diner for lunch while visiting the Largest Czech Egg and Statue of Liberty in city of Wilson.
We were very very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at this place. Menu is simple but extensive enough to provide different choice of tastes. The price is also extremely reasonable.
Really loved this place for the lunch we had. We tried their Garden Salad with grilled chicken and it tasted GREAT! We also tried the Pork striploin sandwich which was also equally amazing. Kudos to the chef and service staffs too. 10/10!!
