The pastries here are incredible. Their kouign amann was the best one that i’ve ever had, the bottom was perfectly caramelized and the inside so buttery. My favorite was their seasonal squash, mornay, and pumpkin seed gremolata savory danish, it was unique and tasted so good, i wish i could get another one! Another big hit was the cinnamon sugar twist, it kind of reminded me of a better version of a cinnamon roll. The ham and cheese croissant and the garlic herb and cheese scone were also incredible. I’m usually pretty let down by chocolate chip cookies but this one didn’t disappoint me at all! Every item i got here was amazing and i will definitely be coming back.

Cute neighborhood coffee shop with some bakery items. The croissant was ok, not super fresh or fluffy. Strong coffee but you can’t serve espresso is a 14 ounce cup. Its a red line. There’s some outdoor sitting only.

I love supporting small business and what I love even more is small businesses that are so friendly and delicious. Get the scone! Melt in your mouth happiness. Their seasonal syrups are also really great. I got the caramel lavender syrup in my iced coffee and I loved it.

Get the chocolate almond croissant! So good!
First time in San Pedro and I had to stop here for a quick (and friendly) breakfast!
Good variety of pastries! And like I said, the chocolate almond croissant was delicious. The almond paste was very tasty and the chocolate was yummy!

I first encountered Colossus in Long Beach and decided to check out this smaller, OG location. The shop is cute and the staff is very friendly, great vibe overall.
I had a butter croissant and a cherry pistachio danish, the croissant dough is flaky and tasty, making these pastries a delight to savor. I also had a bread loaf and enjoyed it at home over a few days.

Apparently this little place has been hiding out for over a year. I had no idea that something like this existed in San Pedro. I’ve been here my whole life and I’ve always really disliked, even hated, the coffee shops that are in San Pedro. This is necessary for coffee connoisseur‘s like myself. They have great, no amazing, pastries. The coffee quality is really good and it is not watered down Because they know what they’re doing. Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10 easy. Even though I have a $600 coffee machine at home, I still leave the house once a week to come and get coffee from Colossus. And a burrito from next door.
I’m updating my review because this is my favorite place. Not only is Coffee completely wonderful but so is the staff. This location reminds me that I live in a community that matters. They remember my name they remember what I order they’re very friendly and consistent I love this place more than a review can even Express. All of their pastries, and their bread are incredible as well. I’ve never gotten anything from here that I don’t like.

Colossus is the best there ever was! I’m so glad we have this San Pedro location—it’s a local gem of a bakery. Everything they make is crafted beautifully with so much attention to detail and clearly made with a lot of love. It’s the perfect spot for a pastry and a tea or coffee to go on a stroll with (also, breakfast burritos right next door if you’re extra hungry). Street parking out front can be a little tight, but I’ll just park a little further and walk. I love ordering online and stopping in for a quick pick up! Incredible pastries, breads, teas, coffees, and other local goodies + great customer service and friendly staff = Colossus in San Pedro.

Yum yum yum! Amazing pastries! And great cappuccinos! This is our second time at Colossus and they don’t disappoint. We wanted to have an almond croissant but they were sold out at 11am. Their almond croissant have a delicious almond paste with real almond pieces inside the croissant. The croissants are so flaky and crunchy, oh my, it takes me back to Paris Best third wave coffee shop and pastry/bakery in San Pedro fo’ shizzle!

I tried the savory mushroom miso pastry, and the vegan city’s poppy cookie. The pastries were good, as was the coffee. It’s in a residential area with narrow streets. Parking can be a challenge, but we found a spot easily.

We’ve gone to a couple of very expensive patisseries but this place is the best! Our guests really enjoyed the pastry. It is not overly sweet and has a deep flavor.
