Food has always been something that brings family and friends together, so it’s been our mission to serve quality food made from scratch using local and seasonal ingredients when available from our table to yours. Lunch at the Kitchen feels like the sort of comfortable neighborhood hangout you’d find in a small town. Fresh flowers in tiny blue glass jars, herbs in window boxes, smiling staff at the counter, good friends, laughter and some great conversation in a cozy environment to make you feel right at home.

We went on a Friday evening and there was live music playing, which was really lovely for the atmosphere of the restaurant.
The service was amazing, fast, friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about their menu items.
The herbs the use come from their garden outside and the beef comes from local farms.
We got the featured appetizer: Fried green tomatoes with mozzarella and balsamic glaze, paired with a black eyed pea salsa.
For dinner I got the chicken and waffles, my husband got the shrimp and grits.
Then for dessert we tried all three items, the chocolate cake, pecan pie and key lime pie.
The food was delicious. Everything we ate blew us away. The chefs in the kitchen truly understand their flavors and how to beautifully balance and plate a meal.
I highly recommend this place.

I was talking about how much I loved the food the following day. My mouth waters as I think about my meal. It was not a cheap place to eat. It would be a great place to take your spouse for a special occasion. There were five of us at the table. We all loved our meals. The menu may not be the same each time you go. There were 2 menu items around $15.00. The rest of the menu was close to $20 plus. I will be back. The staff are friendly and attentive. If you have a special occasion. Be sure to visit here.

Michelle’s Table is one of the more fine dining-oriented restaurants in town, and the food and service match the expectations. Every item I have ever eaten here, be it a burger or shrimp and grits, is fantastic. The food is served hot, perfectly executed, and well-seasoned. The servers and staff are always friendly and attentive, and I love the fancy but funky eclecticism of the design. Prices are higher, but the quality of ingredients, the freshness, and the creativity warrant this. Highly recommend!

Yesterday we had a meal prepared for our family and friends as a place to gather after the celebration of life service for my mom at Lowe’s Funeral Home. The location was perfect only a block from Lowe’s. The food was great, even better than I had anticipated. The price was very fair and the service great. Everyone thought it was perfect and happy we had chosen this as our place to be together after the funeral.

I had the lemon crinkle cookies. The moment the fresh lemon of the cookie reached my taste buds I was taken to a place where it snows powdered sugar and the sun is always shining. The texture was fluffy, chewey and on the good side of rich. As I ingested the cookie it was like being hugged by my grandmother’s sweet embrace.

I have always raved about Michelle’s Kitchen chicken pies so I was excited to be invited to a birthday dinner. The atmosphere was nice but the waitress was not very attentive and seemed mad. I ordered the burger with truffle fries and got a hockey puck with french fries. A reputable chef would have never served that to a customer. They should be ashame. Despite having to pay and tip for this type of service I enjoyed celebrating a birthday with a special person. Would not recommend.
