They greeted us with such warmth. Service started right away and was impecable. The food was really delicious. The lobster cakes, caesar salad, and truffle fries are a must order. I got the wagyu and it was super flavorful and tender. Hubby enjoyed his fish dish and the french onion soup.
The coconut custard tart is incredible and one of the best desserts we’ve ever tasted.
It is very expensive but I thought it was worth it for the experience, quality of food and portion sizes.
I do wish they offered free bread, as it is a fine dining restaurant. But they did give me a smaller version of their cheesecake for my birthday and a handwritten birthday card, which I thought was a very nice touch.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at The Capital Grille and would definitely go back.
The tuna tartar was decent. Ceaser salad was ok. We enjoyed the thick cut bacon. BUT the steaks were outstanding: wagyu ribeye & a prime ribeye. Lobster mac & cheese was delicious. The coconut cream pie was amazing.
The wine by the glass list is extensive with lots of high end wines from California and more. Double diamond Cabernet was insane and the Napa Chardonnay was like butter.
We cannot wait to go back.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful place with excellent service and lovely food, but it looks like it’s targeting tourists with deep pockets!
I order the ribeye with salad side. Both were great, but the prices were extremely high, and even though everything was fine, it wasn’t worth the hefty price tag
