My son picked it after a Christmas play. We had the mozzarella sticks, spicy fried pickles and routine. It was all great. The sauces included. Nice atmosphere. You could talk and music was low. Had atleast 2 tvs with the two different games on.

I loved all the historic Harvey photos on the walls. We ate Just Good BBQ. It would be nice if they played music softly in the background. The food was warm and alright. I was hoping for better. I asked for BBQ sauce for my tri tips. Then it was good. I needed to ask for a knife. If we go back I would try the burgers. No prices listed for main entrées. I would have liked my salad before my main food arrived. There were many little things that are easily fixable.

The Home Town Tavern is a fabulous addition to the town of Harvey. They rotate chefs in the evenings and offer unique menus each day. They also serve breakfast. The prices are very good for the absolutely delicious food. The atmosphere here is fun with a mix of rooms and seating options – tables, high tables, and bar seating. Weekend afternoons they are often open for NDSU games and other sporting events.
