My order was wrong and i was given the wrong information by the employee about returning the sandwich. It wasn’t until 3 days later that the manager said I could have brought them in the same day to switch them out, however due to medical reasons I couldn’t drive on that day. The owners are the ones who refused to remake my food, even though I have photo proof that my order was wrong. I ordered pepperjack cheese and was given american (which i cannot have) and I ordered extra onions and there was none. The sandwich was drier than the Sahara, which is how I know they did not put on extra mayo, or the oil and vinegar I ordered. Either that, or the bread was over toasted as it was partly burnt on the outside. Overall, I would avoid this and the Lewis location as they are owned by the same owners. The employees didn’t know what policies to follow, and overall this whole situation is likely a result of poor ownership and managment. It’s okay to make mistakes, but you must ammend and learn from them. The owners are unwilling and simply unable to do that.

I have been going here for years and believe the store is under new management. They don’t honor coupons & have had a sign up saying it’s a supply chain issue. I now will go to another location that does or a competitor. Not enough meat for the cost. I recommend they refreshen up the location with paint etc.

The girl who made my sandwich seemed like she had no clue what she was doing or hour to make a sandwich. My order is simple too but she managed to screw it up somehow. At the end I asked for mayo and honey mustard and she put like barely any mayo, looked at me and asked what else I wanted. Like she couldn’t get more mayo out and just left it like that. There’s mayo in one part of my sandwich. And she asked if I wanted it cut, I said yea ofc. And she cuts it not in the middle but on one side of it. So now my sandwich is cut in like one 3 inch piece and one 9 inch. How are you gonna work at a subway and not know how to cut a sandwich in half

I haven’t ate at a subway for about a year but decided to grab a quick meatball sub.
And HOLY-COW are the meatballs very small now. So price goes up and product is much smaller. Was not filling and not worth the price. Lady took my order was very awesome though.

I purchased a 6” tuna sub and a steak and cheese wrap for $16.62. In the past, the wrap was full of meat and other ingredients; however, this time it was horribly made. The wrap hardly had any meat or the extra ingredients I asked for in it. After this poor experience, I have chosen to not patronize this restaurant again and will share my experience with others. Subway needs no real review. Either you like the chain or you don’t. It’s menus are the same wherever you go. I do miss their $5 foot longs which is no longer part of their menu and one of the reasons I stopped visiting the chain. I think they’re overpriced otherwise and there are better quality sandwich restaurant’s you can visit for the same prices. There was nothing special about this visit. I have noticed that there is only one person working normally, which I am not a fan of. The person is not only making my sandwich but also needs to work the cash register as well. I don’t take my eyes off the person for even a moment because money is so dirty. They don’t wash their hands at all but I think because they were gloves they figure they can get away with it. I would not recommend. Sorry Subway.

Subway has been trying to persuade the public recently that it has entirely reinvented itself. Truth be told, the food isn’t all that different from what it used to be. Although their sandwiches aren’t very noteworthy, I used to occasionally buy one because they were palatable, quick, and reasonably priced. However, Subway’s prices have recently skyrocketed, and in my perspective, the quality of both their food and service at this Subway Waukegan store is lacking.

They rarely have my favorite soup, broccoli cheddar cheese soup. When I got the soup the ONE TIME they had it, it wasn’t hot!! Hell, it wasn’t even warm!! Definitely disappointed with the soup situation. Other than that, their subs are alright.
