Chips were warm and fresh and so was the Sala. I split some taxas fajitas with my friend and it was more than enough food. I also order a lime margarita and surprisingly it was delicious, didn’t taste like they poured a bunch of sour mix in it. It was fresh and hit the spot. The employees were super friendly.

Is it the biggest? No. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in heart. A kind thoughtful and happy staff, great food prep quality & portions, and taste is off the charts. It’s my favorite Mexican style place when I visit Clinton NC, and the best restaurant of this type I know of in Clinton. I even hold back going to other Mexican themed restaurants in the triangle to save myself for Mr. A’s place when I get here. Great great great. Thanks for making me as a customer feel at home. !

Definitely the best Birria tacos I’ve ever had!
Their “Large order” of chips is an understatement, you get such a huge bag that will last you several days and they’re freshly made and hot when you pick your order up! The pickup process was seamless and the gentleman I talked to was very respectful and kind! Will definitely be returning!!

New Mexican restaurant in Clinton that did not disappoint! Aside from the exquisite food with a taste of authentic Mexican seasoning, the staff was extremely fast, friendly and approachable. The owners themselves are part of the cook/serving crew which is admirable. We got tacos to go – the restaurant offers a variety of meats including your typical asada and chicken. If you want to be more adventurous, try birria and barbacoa. We waited a total of 5 minutes for our 10 tacos!

last night was our third visit to Don Agustin’s place… wanted to average our dining experiences there to most accurately write a review. EVERY time, they ‘hit the ball out of the park’! the food is DELICIOUS, the service is first rate, and the VERY affable Don Agustin himself is evidently always there and INVOLVED, making it a point to check on the satisfaction of his diners. we drive down from Fayetteville JUST to eat there – IMHO, it is THAT good! i HOPE he is able to open a location in F-ville at some point in the future – his success (given how fantastic his Clinton operation is) is virtually guaranteed! give this place a try if you’re ever in Clinton, folks – you will NOT be disappointed!
