I ordered the dolsot bibimbap, and the portion was very large. At first, the vegetables felt a bit undercooked. After mixing, the heat helped them soften and blend better, but I still would have preferred them cooked a little more. I was surprised to find crispy rice (누릉지) at the bottom, but it was a bit too hard. Overall, the seasoning also felt slightly too salty for my taste. I also appreciated that they provided chopsticks with the bibimbap—it felt thoughtful and considerate.
My friends ordered the smash burger, lemon berry pancakes, and a mimosa flight. They really enjoyed the mimosa flight, but the burger and pancakes were just okay.
The atmosphere was bright and pleasant, which made the meal enjoyable.
They also offer a few Korean dishes. The fried chicken was disappointing; it didn’t seem freshly fried and then sauced, but rather pre-made and reheated, so the texture wasn’t great. It was also more salty than the usual sweet and spicy flavor you’d expect. The bibimbap was decent—nothing amazing, but enjoyable.
Overall, it’s an okay spot for a quick, casual meal nearby, but probably not the place to go if you’re looking for a special atmosphere for an occasion.
Our entrance was… concerning. lol An alarm was going off as we walked in. Turns out a water line had broken in the neighboring building. We made the most of it and shimmy danced to the strobe light and alarm.
Once seated, we ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Korean Fried Chicken & Waffle.
The Eggs Benedict came out with a perfectly poached egg, and the addition of a Dijon vinaigrette was something new for me — bright, tangy, and honestly such a great surprise twist.
The Korean Fried Chicken & Waffle was the star of the meal. The chicken was beautifully cooked, crispy outside, juicy inside, and that honey garlic gochujang glaze? Sweet, savory, just enough heat… the kind of flavor that makes you pause mid-bite and look at your partner like, “yoooooo!”
We devoured both dishes and left stuffed and happy. 10/10 recommend this place.
I had my first fried cheese curds, they were so perfectly crispy and delicious.
Pork dumpling soup, incredible.
Gojujang chicken and waffles was oh so tasty.
