Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Reviews
I went through the drive-thru. I waited for almost 25 minutes. When I came to the window she passed out my food and I asked her if everything is in the bag since she didn’t check if everything was correct before she passed out the bag. She said yes. I look inside my bag and half of my order is missing after I just asked her if everything was in the bag. She was doing more talking than working. One of the Managers were at the window also. Talking and not working.
I got a sandwich on toast and no cheese.
I went back to tell them and the manager didn’t even seem to care. I didn’t have time to argue, so I sucked it up and just walked away.
Amazing customer service, way to go ♂️
I really hope your GM sees this review because this is COMPLETELY unacceptable for fast food and inconsiderate for my lunch break. The manager even had the girl that was taking her meal break hand me the order while he stood behind her like a watch dog. Please fire the overnight manager… this is bad for business.
Food is alright it’s whataburger, but as someone who’s worked in food service, handing out change is NOT hard. She acknowledged he gave her $20, and that the change was $15 but never actually gave him the cash.
Nice employee. I went through drive thru and the lady there was soo sweet! Good customer service
During a verbal exchange, the employee made an unprofessional and concerning statement, saying, “You’re talking real crazy—do you want to step outside?” This was clearly an invitation to a physical confrontation. When I agreed to step outside in response to the employee’s challenge, law enforcement was contacted, and I was subsequently arrested.
I want to emphasize that the employee initiated the suggestion to take the situation outside, yet I was the only individual who faced consequences. I believe this behavior is highly unprofessional and inappropriate for any workplace, particularly when it involves provoking a customer and escalating a situation rather than de-escalating it.
I hope this matter is taken seriously and that appropriate action is taken, whether through disciplinary measures, suspension, or retraining, to ensure this type of conduct does not happen again.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
