Ill start with the one good thing, our server Sahara was fantastic. Friendly, professional, attentive. Sahara girl if you are reading this, you could make real money at an establishment that served decent food.
I tried so hard to be ok with the food because I was hungry, and the server was great
We ordered chicken croquette, mozzarella sticks, and the chicken parmesan. I got the snapper soup. Or Should I call it the cinnamon roux water, because that is what it tasted like? Wouldn’t reccomend. The chicken croquettes tasted…funny. was not a fan. The mashed potatoes and gravy were the kind of institutional food one would expect in a prison. Bland, tasteless, I have no idea how they make it but its hard to screw up mash and gravy that bad. The green beans were soft like mush, and flavorless. I told the manager I thought they were canned but she swore they were fresh. The only way fresh green beans could be in that state when I got them, is if they had been made in the morning and hot held in tasteless water for 10 hours. The mozzarella sticks themselves were ok but the marinara sauce tasted canned and sweet. Not good
The chicken parm came out and it was actually decent. Except we found an extra long hair threaded THROUGH the breading. That ended the meal for us on the spot. They at least took it off the bill, but that was hardly a merit at that point
I have no idea how a restraunt like this stays in business. To the owners, who im sure are spending a lot of money on rent and staff, I beg you to get a real chef in there to save your establishment. Because this ain’t it and you are doomed for failure if this keeps up
I have no idea if the burgers or breakfast are any good, but I wouldn’t touch the dinners there with a 10 foot pole
can be. It filled the plate. It wasn’t small about 5/8 of an inch thick. The vegetables were Stewed tomatoes and corn. My starter was a salad. That was prepared really well. Plenty of green, very little white and chilled, just right.. Topped off with a gin and tonic. This was gourmet’s level eating. The price of the ribeye dinner, thirty two dollars, The tall glass of gin and tonic $8. If your mouth is not watering right now, apparently you’re not a steak eater. Oh, I almost forgot my wife had ravioli’s and of course, they were excellent. I don’t remember the price of the ravioli dinner. Too busy, eating that delicious steak.
I need to thank the chef. Thank you you’re the best.
I really enjoyed the burger on the pretzel bun and cheese loaded Tater tots.
Thank you for the experience and memories.
