FULL REVIEW:
I dined here alone at lunch on a busy Saturday at peak time. For my appetizer, I ordered avocado toast. There were small tomatoes on the dish, which were wonderfully tart and added lots of brightness and zing to the dish. The dish had a generous amount of avocado. The sourdough was perfectly toasted; crunchy but not so much that it was hard to chew. The balsamic added a deeper tang and sharpness to the dish than the tomatoes, which helped further offset the creamy, rich, near-sweetness of the avocados.
I then ordered a seasonal gnocchi dish, which included mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, and this lovely creamy sauce which the menu said used various cheeses. To me, it tasted like cream of mushroom; I’m quite certain there was mushroom used in the sauce, which gave a great umami flavor. The dish was rich, hearty, and filling, without feeling like it was weighing me down with tons of oil or butter. I do think some sour cream on the side to provide some contrast would have been nice.
To order desserts, the staff bring out a display with replicas of all of their desserts, so you can see what they look like. This is so creative to me. I’m always a fan of photos on the menu or other ways to see what you’ll be ordering.
I ordered the cookies ‘n’ cream dessert, which was delicious. Symone D., my waitress, was amazing – really friendly and sweet, and never seemed bothered by me asking for more water or a spoon or anything. She was always so fast to do everything, despite how busy the restaurant was. I was deeply impressed and she really makes you feel like a valued customer. I think it’s so nice that she told me not to rush and to take my time, even though they were clearly slammed. (On that note – I’d highly recommend making reservations if you’re planning to dine at a peak time. I snagged the very last open table when I walked in.)
It was so convenient to pay by phone with a QR code instead of someone having to take my card and me needing to sign a receipt and whatnot. Feels like we’re finally living in the 21st century.
The prices are very reasonable. I had an amazing, tasty, filling 3-course meal for less than $40 excluding gratuity. Many of the other comparably nice restaurants in the area provide less tasty food or smaller portions for higher prices. This one is cheaper and still nice enough to bring the in-laws to.
My only complaint is how dark the lighting was. I went on a sunny afternoon for lunch, and personally, I always prefer natural sunlight when it’s there, rather than dark, moody lighting. Obviously, it’s nothing major to gripe about, and for an evening dinner, it’s not an issue. Other than that, I am so pleased with how the meal went.
We gathered at Seasons 52 on Sunday, ready for a family feast, and were welcomed with genuinely warm smiles and attentive service that set a gracious tone from the start. Our server made sure drinks stayed full, plates arrived promptly, and everyone felt cared for — the kind of hospitality that lingers.
My salmon was nicely cooked, though the string beans were a bit on the tough side. My aunt’s sesame salmon salad was the clear winner at our table, with fresh, lively flavors she couldn’t stop complimenting. My wife’s rotisserie chicken was tender, but the rice pilaf alongside it could have used more seasoning to shine. The kids enjoyed their pasta with grilled chicken — a cozy, simple dish — but wished for a cheesier finish.
The dining room had a relaxed, inviting energy, making it easy to linger over conversation. While a couple of sides fell short of our hopes, the friendly, attentive service ensured we still left with smiles and a sense of having been looked after. With a few tweaks in the kitchen, this could be a meal as memorable as the hospitality.
Finally, the desserts were excellent and very succulent.
The service made the experience even better. Karina was out of this world! Attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming — she went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect evening.
If you’re looking for great food, a relaxing Happy Hour atmosphere, and exceptional service, Season 52 is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!
We coordinated for the servers to bring one yellow rose to his table every few minutes, and the kitchen even wrote “Will you be my girlfriend?” on his dessert. It was perfect — thoughtful, beautiful, and more than I could’ve asked for. My son was over the moon, too.
A special thank you to our waitress, Sarah. Even though she wasn’t serving my son’s table, she made everything happen with the biggest smile. She was truly the heart of this whole moment, and I’m so grateful for her kindness and effort.
Seasons 52, thank you for giving us a night we’ll never forget.
Oh also the food was great as well!!
