Ok i dont give 5 stars to easily. It was a toss up between 4.5 or 5 but you cant do 4.5. The only reason was i wished the salad bar was a little bigger. I should have taken pics of our food. Soups were great, all our food was great n so was the coffee. Waitress was very nice n no midtakes. But a real take is bathrooms spotless and for those that dont know a dirty bathroom is usally a FILTHY kitchen. Well stocked also, including soap. But very impressive a kitchen person didnt know i was in there n washed his hands. WELL DONE, GOOD TRAINING FROM HIS FAMILY AND BOSS . I hope the owner sees this. Im old, been to a lot of places. GOOD JOB. THANK YOU. Prices very fair, no greed here.

The food was absolutely delicious. It was a real treat to be able to get scrapple and biscuits and gravy. Yummmmy. Every bite was better than the next.

The Americana Diner has really good food with impressively good pricing. On top of that, booths are comfortable, the staff was attentive and friendly as well. The only thing I can remotely complain about is that the parking lot is directly touching the road so it’s a bit intimidating to navigate and a bit of a pain to pull out. The mild inconvenience is well worth the experiencing, but it should be noted for people who get anxious while driving/parking.

Great Americana diner! Good food, fast service, polite and competent staff. Grandson and I had breakfast today. Omelets were excellent. Coffee is delicious (that doesn’t happen often as I’m a coffee snob). Try this one. Youre gonna like it.

1950s/60s Car Themed Diner. The menu is vast and the food is good. We selected senior portions of Shepherd’s Pie and Chopped Sirloin [Must get the house mushroom sauce!]. The senior menu is much larger than usual. For our sons, we took out burgers. Our younger son’s burger was of Dagwood proportions! We have added this restaurant to our goto places. It forms a “Golden Triangle” with East Penn Diner and Mount Penn Family Restaurant. All are equidistant from us via the backroads.

Cozy dinner in the country. The servers are friendly and helpful. The food comes out fairly fast. And the food is pretty damn good. I only wish the sausage gravy had the drippings of the sausage for more flavor. The rest of the plates on the table were great.

My husband and I went on a Sunday morning. It was very busy but we waited less than 5 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was very pleasant, quick and attentive (Heather). The food was tasty (I had the Americana stuffed French toast and my husband had a breakfast special). We would love to return for dinner!

Chilies was packed, so we quickly picked a backup. Came on up to the Americana. Let’s face it, it’s a diner. I had a steak, it was a diner steak but I got one trip to the salad bar, a soup, and a vegetable for 18.99. Diners will never be outstanding, best ever but for diner food the price it good and the food has a decent quality. Staff there could not be any better!

Food absolutely sucked. French Onion Soup was a salt lick. Hot Roast Beef Sandwich was flavorless mush. The gravy had lumps of flour in it. The server was so nice, she was great. She felt bad and wished she could have taken it off the bill but said management wouldn’t allow it. Would have had a better meal at McDonalds for $21. Quite a dissapointment

Menu was huge. If you can’t find something you want to eat off of it there is something wrong.
A lot of daily specials. I had the crab stuffed flounder with a black diamond steak. That steak was perfectly cooked (medium) and tender! Not pictured is my baked potato and side of corn. The portions are huge.
My mom got the special, a half chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy w/ side of broccoli.
All of us at the table also received soup. 2 chicken noodle and 2 Manhattan clam chowder. Chowder was fabulous, wish I could have ate more but my 7 year old took one bite and claimed it for herself.
Baskets of warm bread and butter brought to the table.
Waitresses was fast, pleasant and damn can she carry alot of drinks on one tray. (There were 8 of us total)
Menu says one free refill, we didn’t get close to needed more than one refill (glasses were big)
