Great Food. This place makes fresh food,and they are super friendly. Excellent fresh fries… poutine is amazing… the burgers are juicy, and the tacos are awesome.
Only downfall is there are only two small tables available to sit down at and benches all around, but it’s not a dine in place anyways it’s meant to enjoy your food on the beach!

I stopped by Dunky’s for the first time for lunch August 20th 2025, and it was Delicious! Made fresh right in front of me! No heat lamp food here my friends. If you are near Burlington Beach I highly recommend getting a Smash Burger and Fries, you wont regret it! I was told they are open all summer! I work nearby do I know I will become a regular here!

Great little spot on the between the beach and the trail. Great food at good prices and good portion. Great smashed patties done nice and thin. Friendly staff. No Credit Card Surcharge. Washrooms and showers beside the shack. Water filling station beside the shack. Two small tables for dining. Beaches and boulders around to sit too. No Free WiFi.

If you are ever in the Burlington beach area, I would suggest stopping by to try their poutine and burgers. A hidden gem! Nice weekend afternoon trip. Also bring a chair if you want to sit on the beach and eat your food, there aren’t many seats.

Their SMASH Burger is hands-down the best in town -juicy, flavour-packed, and cooked to perfection. The watermelon sorbet ice cream is pure summer bliss refreshing, light, and totally addictive. And don’t even get me started on the poutine… it oozes with cheese and comes in a generous portion that’s perfect for sharing (or not!).
If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with bold flavours and beach vibes, Dunky’s is it.
If they’re busy and there’s a bit of a wait (they are only human not robots) TRUST ME WHEN I SAY the food is worth the wait

That’s exactly what it is a beach shack home cut fries were delicious smash burgers. I just find them to be greasy, but this is quite the experience and I recommend it. It was good.

Unfortunately it’s seasonal…. Had to wait until this spring to try it, as it’s located on the Burlington beach strip, which by the way has changed a lot…. Looks great!
Back to the food, nice clean little take out spot, next to the beach comfort station, family run by a great “Burlington dad” we ordered the double smashed cheese burger and poutine, couldn’t eat the hamburger quick enough, it was delicious, well made and flavourful right down to the choice of bun, no need to over complicate it…….My new favourite burger joint
Poutine was large sized, hot crisp fries, cheese and gravy what else can I say!
I was reluctant to start, but this burger didn’t disappoint….. glad I found this place.

Amazing food, served by great local and hardworking folks.
My last order was the poutine, ordered a small size portion, but after I received it I had to ask if there had been a mistake as the portion was huge!
