This place is a gem with a truly fresh and flavorful menu. I absolutely love the seafood chowder and the seafood Alfredo spaghetti — both are rich, delicious, and always perfectly prepared. The service is consistently fast, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Every time we visit Erie Beach, this restaurant is a must-stop for us.

Always delicious. Nice atmosphere. Been here many times & no complaints. Have tried many dishes. Crab cakes & seafood platter are my faves. Scallops are . Always busy in summer of course. Need reservations usually. If u can make it down in fall or winter, usually just a few or no one there. Service is good. Waitress are usually good but there’s one that could use some work on their customer service .

I’m not usually into fried fish and prefer steamed fish and sashimi. But this lemon-pepper breaded perch blew me away. The breading was thin but crunchy, it added texture to the dish but I didn’t have to get through a whole layer of breading to taste the fish. The fish inside was tender and juicy, and the lemon and pepper flavour from the breading mixed really well with the fish. Every bite was tasty.

Dined inside out of the heat, the service was friendly (all of the wait staff and the kitchen staff I met as well).
We were in for a weeknight dinner which was exactly our speed as it wasn’t very busy.
I really liked the attention to detail of the meal, unlike Bayside you feel like you are getting a fully crafted dish prepared with care that isn’t designed solely for instagram folks.
The dinner specials were reasonably priced and they accommodated my friend’s lactose intolerance well.
I also appreciated not being pushed to order alcohol. ♥️
Will definitely come again!

Have to update my 5 to a 3.
Get rid of the crusty old lady who doesn’t seem to like her job!
Today we stopped in for lunch at 3 pm. 3 servers casually strolling around, only 3 tables in use and the place was empty.. yet not one of them took the time to great me as I stood waiting for someone to offer us a table for a solid 5 minutes.
I finally went up and asked if I should continue to wait or just seat myself, and the crusty old lady said “just wait a minute”.. then said she was busy … ♂️
You’re not the only game in town.. improve your service or people will eat somewhere else.
We went to Bayside which has their patio open, much better atmosphere, much friendlier service (They were ACTUALLY busy, yet still said they’d fit us in) and bomb food at reasonable prices!
Worked out well for us as we’d been wanting to try Bayside.

Love this little restaurant in the heart of Erieau! Food is fresh and delicious, and served up quickly! Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly (except for the older server).
Always love stopping here on the patio for some food and beer after a day of fishing!

The day we went, it was randomly busy, as they told us. However, I’ve read other reviews that say the same, so I’m curious about a normal days speed of service. We waited just over 1 hour for our food. The food was pretty good, fish quality was excellent, and portions on the smaller side. Soup was FANTASTIC, arguably one of the best chowders I have had locally, but the cup was super small. Get the bowl for sure. There are lots of great options for the kids, bigger kids menu than most places. The price for myself and my child was 47$ for our 2 meals, a cup of soup (we didn’t get drinks). Overall, I would return.
