All in all was a great experience, easy to grab a burrito and pay. They were having a few issues with their register which made it a little bit more difficult to check out while going into the lobby but other than that everybody was friendly and kind. The ready to go burritos cost me about $3.69 and the coffee cost me $3.35. The burrito was just like any other breakfast burrito tasty quick and delicious. The green chili though is the bomb! I will be coming back

I seriously love Consuelo’s Express. I’m a regular here and they know me by name, which says a lot about how much they care about their customers. Everyone is always super friendly, welcoming, and working incredibly hard.
Today was especially impressive. Jack was running the register solo during a rush and absolutely crushing it. Ethan was handling the drive through window like a pro, and Erika was outside taking orders and keeping things moving smoothly. Even when it’s busy, they stay positive and on top of it.
And it’s not just them. The chefs and all the other staff, even the ones whose names I don’t know yet, consistently do an amazing job. You can tell there’s a strong team culture here.
The food is always delicious and tastes like authentic Mexican food in my opinion. If you are looking for a great local spot to support, this is it. I highly recommend Consuelos to anyone who wants amazing food and even better service.

Fort Collins has very little good Mexican food. This place is pretty expensive for what you get. Don’t get me wrong theres definitely a large portion of food in their dinner packages. But there is no seasoning and I swear the salsa is totitos brand. Overall, would be decent if they just upgraded a few of their ingredients and added a bit of flavor. Right now its pretty similar to Taco Bell other than the meat, which is admitidly better quality.

Food is fine. Their taco sauce is great. Nice kick to it. Service is fine and people are friendly. This place is small and extremely busy so they do the best they can with organized chaos. Parking is a serious issue here. Look the food is not gourmet but for the price its really a good value and I had the crisp shelled ground beef tacos and they were great. They serve Pepsi products but do have bottles of Mexican coke in a side cooler so if that’s your jam remember to ask. They have been around for along time and have a diverse enough menu that it should satisfy any and all cravings you would have for quick mexican inspired food.

From someone who grew up in Northern New Mexico a majority of my life.. this place is incredible. Chicharrón burrito was crispy, beans were hot and the perfect texture, chile wasn’t overwhelming spicy (can’t do spice anymore sadly) but it hit the spot. The horchata was decent but could taste where it was sitting. But the food is legit. Yall def should add a Tamale Burrito would be a hit. Went through drive through the line went QUICK. Guy on drive thru was quick, polite, let me know the morning deal and I was off to go. Giving you the full New Mexican experience (kind and hospital people) this isn’t a gentrification of NM culture food it’s LEGIT!

This is the second time I bought a burrito there and it went straight into the trash. I ordered a ground been handheld, no chili. I got it home, it was not wrapped, it was like a taco, cold flour burrito and basically, just disgusting. Tossed it. The other lunches were fine – but mine was inedible

Awesome burritos. My personal favorite is the chorizo, egg, and potatoes. Service is fast, but the only place you can sit and eat is outside. Great if you’re on the go or want a quick bite!

Breakfast burritos I wish they could put green chili in the whole burrito. They only sprinkle some on the ends for a good first two bites and sloppy last two bites. Middle no chili. I understand the ploy to save money and the customer gets a good first bite. I always have to get a side of chili so I can enjoy every bite. Make the whole burrito taste the same.
