I really love Moulin ❤️
I’ve been to both locations the first one is smaller, and this one is much bigger and more interesting. It feels nicer to sit here and enjoy the atmosphere.

The pastries are delicious fresh, light, and not overly sweet, which I personally love. The flavors are well balanced and you can really taste the quality. The sandwiches are also very tasty fresh, flavorful, and made with great ingredients.

My husband and my friend were also very impressed everyone found something they liked, and everything we tried was truly tasty.

The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful, and the desserts are nicely presented. It’s a great place not only for coffee but also to relax and enjoy the moment.
We will definitely come back ❤️

We had a wonderful experience at Moulin! The Omelette Moulin was perfectly cooked — light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The apricot crêpe was delicate with just the right balance of sweetness. The service was excellent — attentive and genuinely welcoming. We especially appreciated that it’s dog friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

Great location in Newport Beach with a very nice interior design—clean, cozy, and inviting. I ordered the chicken and mushroom pastry and it was excellent, full of flavor and perfectly baked. The croissants are fresh and delicious, and I highly recommend pairing them with their coffee. The only small issue was that the coffee was warm rather than hot, which should be addressed. Overall, a great spot and definitely worth visiting.

The moment you arrive at Moulin, you’ll know you’re in the right place — just look for the iconic red umbrellas out front. From there, it feels like you’ve been dropped straight into a small café in France.

The inside–outside seating, classic bistro tables, and lively yet relaxed energy create that effortless Parisian vibe that’s hard to find done this well. The food was amazing, and the offerings were abundant — from perfectly flaky croissants to thoughtfully made sandwiches and fresh, well-balanced salads. Everything feels authentic, comforting, and carefully executed.

What really stands out is how genuine the experience feels. Moulin isn’t trying too hard — it simply is what it says it is. If you love cozy café vibes, great people-watching, and excellent French dishes, this place is an absolute must.

I love the warm pastries and a buttery crescent. Apple turnover and a cup of coffee. A great baguette filled with meats and cheese. Yummy
Also some delicious butter cookies.

Bouillon and Moulin are my two most favorite restaurants to visit. I’m always in a good mood when I visit Moulin for breakfast or lunch. The food is good quality and fairly priced. The coffee is delicious and the desserts/sweets are to die for.

I was close by and decided to stop because of heavy rain. I am so glad I came here. Everything about my experience was amazing. The server let me pick where I wanted to sit. Service was quick and the food was delicious. I got the pork chops with apples, potatoes and green beans. So delicious and perfect for this weather. A cafe au lait rounded off the experience.

This is the best French café in OC, maybe even SoCal. Been coming here since the days when it was Pascal, the new management had definitely brought it up a notch or two. Their panini is out of this world, and it’s not a complete visit without getting the pastries, from Kouign Amann, Baba au rhum, pear tart, croissant, macaron to finishing with cafe au lait. They also have this wonderful shop with French cookies to wine. While you’re there, take advantage of the outdoor patio seating. It’s not the most ideal being next to a busy parking lot, especially during the lunch rush hours.
