We’ve been coming here for years, and this time we finally had the chance to bring our kid along, which made the visit extra special. The salad and rolls were amazing as always — definitely a highlight. Our entrées were a bit on the bland side, but overall we had a great time and enjoyed being there together.

I came here for Veterans Day because you get a free appetizer. I ordered the mussels. They were perfectly seasoned! Delectable. I’m honestly surprised that for the amount I got, it was only $13. But I did not have to pay anything because it was Veterans Day. But on any other day, I would totally come back to eat the mussels again. I’m curious to try other menu items.

I love the dark moodiness of this place. The ambiance is perfect for date night. I’m surprised at how big and deep this spot is. It does not seem as if it would be this massive inside from seeing the building from the outside.

Came here for the eggplant parm and it was just okay. Food lacked overall seasoning and the meat sauce was very bland. The meatballs were clearly not homemade, in fact tasted like they were cooked from frozen. The complimentary salad and garlic rolls were nice, but the garlic on the rolls tasted very bitter and old. I wouldn’t come here expecting authentic Italian by any means. Ambiance needed music and a tad more lighting.

This was my first time visiting the restaurant. The interior was quite dark, which made the ambiance feel a bit uninviting. While the table lighting was bright, the fixtures themselves felt oversized for the space and created an uncomfortable glare, making it hard to see the person across from me.

As for the food, I found it to be just okay. I ordered the chicken parmesan—it tasted fine, but it lacked seasoning and overall flavor. On a positive note, the complimentary salad and rolls were very good. However, the salad had a lot of the tough inner core of the lettuce head, which was disappointing and required some cutting up.

Dessert was definitely the highlight of the meal. The cheesecake was light, fluffy, and not overly dense, which I really enjoyed. The lemon cake was outstanding—full of flavor and generously portioned. The ice cream, while unique, had an odd taste that I personally wouldn’t go for again.

Would I come back to this restaurant? No probably not.

Good food and friendly service make a good dining experience especially on your birthday .. forgot to take a photo of our Mozzarella Cheese Sticks as appetizer because it looked and tasted very good, the sauce for the Chicken Marsala would taste better with a creamy sauce instead of what seems to be an oil-based sauce, and my birthday desert ice cream was amazing .. the birthday special deal is a terrific value and we will be back

Im always looking for a good chicken parm, and I found a great one here. This is one of the top 3 chicken parms I’ve ever had.
The spaghetti and meat sauce were also delicious as we’re the little garlic butter rolls.
Would definitely recommend and I will definitely be back!

I haven’t been here in years and I am still happy with the service and the food. It wasn’t busy when we got there so we were seated pretty quickly for a group of 4. Service was quick and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we even ordered some of their desserts. The dinner is a decent portion for one person but the desserts are definitely shareable.

My second time there. It’s a lovely spot with friendly staff and classic/warm decor. The bread and salad were great. The rest of the food was mediocre (we had a bit of everything from parm to marsala on the entree menu). Maybe next time I’ll order just the salad or a pasta. My aunt is diabetic. It would have been nice to have a salad she could enjoy, maybe an antipasto salad

I have been going to Provino’s restaurants since 1978. Tonight we had the spaghetti with everything on it. I had the chicken and eggplant. It is my birthday in a few hours and normally they gift you a discount on your birthday if you have your drivers license. I have been to this location since I moved to Marietta five years ago monthly. As a former waitress at Provino’s in 1988 if would have been nice to receive something for my 65th birthday. Dinners come with all you can eat salad and garlic rolls. We also had the rice pudding. They have great chicken and eggplant too. For a family or if you are by yourself there is some to take home. It is affordable and always good. They provide real value in what they serve.

The veal franchese was good.

Immediately seated. The restaurant was not as busy as usual so I was surprised with the slow service. It took so long before anyone came by to get us water that I had already started trying to find another restaurant (not familiar with the area).

My husband ordered pasta fagioli soup and the waiter said it would take a minute for the soup. It was a long minute! He had eaten about 1/3 of the soup and our food arrived. I’ve never had it take that long for soup. They had to cook the veal franchese so there should have been plenty of time to eat soup before any food arrived.

The garlic rolls have always been a favorite but they were basically inedible because of the amount of garlic skins. Whoever did the garlic obviously did not even bother with taking it out of the skin. Very disappointing. (But trying to stay positive, that did keep us from eating too many.)

I’ve never had a bad meal from Provino’s. Since I no longer live close to one, I was really excited to eat there. Too bad it wasn’t up to expectations.
