Guys! I’m so mad that we didn’t order more food while here because seeing what other people got around us, it looked FIREEE!
I saw this place when we first got to Maine and never forgot about it because I am a giant soft serve fan and they boast 24 different flavors of soft serve!!!! This was our 4th and last stop on our Maine Ice Cream Trek and it did not disappoint. After very long and drawn out deliberation, I decided to try the English Toffee flavor and my wife got the Dragon’s Blood soft serve flavor. Both were so good but that Dragon’s Blood was out of this world!! I had never had the flavor before and it blew my mind.
We also got fries to make sure we made it home to eat and they were the best fries we had in Maine for our entire trip and my wife LOVES fries so that’s a very nice compliment. We almost ordered a second serving.
There is plenty of covered seating outside but no inside seating so it gave a well catered picnic vibe. I will say it was hard for us to find because the map didn’t realize where it was. We had to drive around a bit to find it but it’s next to the gas station/convenience store that Maps takes you to.
I would absolutely go out of my way to go to Seaside Dairy Bar the next time we’re in Maine. It’s well worth it!

If you’re looking for good seasoned food in Maine then this is your place!! After being in Maine for the past week, my husband and I really have not been impressed with the food. It has lacked seasoning/flavor everywhere we tried. We come from Louisiana so that might be why but after stopping here for dinner we will definitely be back before we head out! The food was GREAT! Had flavor, cooked good, nice people. Just all around great! You won’t be disappointed. I’ve also noticed people have said it’s expensive, well so is every other restaurant around here. We spent $60+ somewhere else on 2 grill cheese and soup. We spent the same here and got fried fish tacos, blackened po boy sandwhich, soup and onion rings. Definitely worth it. They know how to cook good food! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

While this restaurant isn’t celiac safe, my spouse really enjoyed the food. The menu was large and had a variety of different seafood options. The food was fresh, hot, and came out pretty quickly.
The atmosphere was great, with music playing and lots of seating. Overall, would recommend!

(8/28/25) I visited this eatery for the first time while I was in the area hiking several Acadia National Park trails. I ordered their lobster roll which came with French fries. And I ordered a slice of their blueberry pie. The homemade blueberry pie is ABSOLUTELY mouthwatering delicious!!! The crust of this pie is perfect and flaky and the filling made with Maine blueberries is like no other. Highly recommend! Their lobster roll was okay in comparison to other Maine eateries who really know how to build excellent lobster rolls! For that reason, the lobster roll purchase at this particular eatery is a ‘one and done’ for me. The fries were not that great either.

Excellent service and delicious food. I saw a bad review on another site talking about the pizza, that’s the gas station nearby Hansens, this place also has the word Hansens on the sign but its two separate food places. This was my favorite lobster roll on the island and by far the best flavor of Cole slaw I had on this trip. Their blueberry pie and ice cream were great also

This is the roadside restaurant that has a lot of seafood and other types of sandwiches. I ordered the lobster roll which was $30 and it probably had on at least 6 oz of lobster meat and the bread that was on was nice and crispy. My wife ordered the haddock which was allowed to be done in broiled blackened or fried and she enjoyed it very much. I was amazed by the different times amounts of ice creams that they had. If I lived in the area I would definitely go back

The service was slow and the employees were a bit too harsh for my liking. The lobster roll was very good and we enjoyed it a lot. Not bad overall for an accessible roadside ️ stop.

One of the best meals we’ve had in Maine. Outdoor seating only but the staff were extremely friendly and the food was relatively quick to come out. Would highly recommend the lobster Mac and cheese and fried seafood platter. the fried shrimps, scallops, clams, and fries were some of the best I’ve had. The clam chowder was also delicious.
We were stuffed but then also got ice cream + blueberry pie and had zero regrets. This was a highlight of our trip!

We got a fried haddock sandwich and fish tacos, both excellent!! The clam chowder was affordable and tasty too. They have a menu with lots of options and fair prices. Highly recommend for a casual meal after stopping at wonderland or the lighthouse!
