A cherished spot for my mother! We commemorate her birthday here annually and consistently depart feeling content. The gastronomic experience is delightful, the staff is courteous, and the restaurant’s cleanliness is commendable. As guests are seated, they’re offered fresh bread and butter, complemented by their preferred drink, and succeeded by appetizers. This venue is ideal for hosting grand dinner celebrations.

I came in for dinner and was immediately seated. Shawn was my waitress and she was fantastic. I never once had to ask for a refill or if I needed anything. She was very accommodating and took great care of me. Definitely one of the better servers I’ve had in a long, long time.
She brought out a roll when I came in, and I ordered an appetizer of fried zucchini. The roll came with regular butter and cinnamon butter. The cinnamon butter was much better than roadhouse In my opinion. The fried zucchini was a much larger portion than I thought it would be, and it was delicious. The seasoning was great and I really didn’t even use the ranch at all because it had so much flavor.
For my entrée, I ordered the grilled chicken breast with fully loaded baked potato and side Caesar salad. The salad had a bit too much dressing for me, but some people will like that. The potato was cooked perfectly and was extremely fluffy. The grilled chicken breast was a little overcooked and dry but it had a great flavor.
If I lived closer, I would frequent this place for sure. Give them a shot when you’re in town.

Just enjoyed a 6oz Filet Mignon Medium Rare and it was cooked PERFECTLY!! Topped with sautéed mushrooms and a small side Caesar salad STUFFED me for lunch and even got a side of Bread and delicious butter!! I would highly recommend Montana Mike’s for lunch or dinner 7 DAYS A WEEK!!

We come here at least once a week and it’s always a great experience. The food is consistently good, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Montana Mike’s has definitely become one of our go-to spots for a great meal in New Braunfels.

This was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The issues started immediately: my food arrived severely overcooked, to the point where it was barely enjoyable. On top of that, my glass had visible crusty residue on it, which is already unacceptable for any restaurant. But the final straw was discovering actual flies in my cup. At that point, any confidence I had in the cleanliness or quality of the place was gone.
To be fair, the bartenders were the only bright spot of the entire visit—they were friendly, attentive, and clearly doing their best. Unfortunately, the kitchen was the complete opposite. The food quality was terrible, and it’s obvious there’s a serious lack of care or oversight back there.
What made the whole situation even more frustrating was the manager, who spent most of the time aimlessly wandering around without addressing any of the very obvious problems happening in the dining area. There was no sense of leadership, no attention to detail, and certainly no urgency to fix anything.
Between the poor food, the sanitation issues, and the lack of management, this place completely missed the mark. We won’t be returning.

Good service food and price. A real good mom and pop steakhouse that really cares if you are happy. I got the 16oz prime rib medium with steamed broccoli and baked potato. The prime rib was sift, velvety and melted in my mouth!! Yea if you have not tried it you should!! I’m a proud foodie, I have google reviewed hundreds and hundreds of restaurants and I’d put my money on it that you will enjoy it…..
