I absolutely Love brisket, and most of the time they absolutely Nail it and it feels like their food is made with love. But today both me and my girlfriend ordered the moist brisket, and it felt more like they were trying to get a pay check rather than making their food with Love. It was dry, super tough, and tasteless. I expected it to be pretty good after spending almost 60$ for 2 people for lunch. Their food has been very good though every other time I’ve ever been there, but today something just felt off. I would recommend this place to anyone, even if there was just a simple mistake one day. The employees there are also some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and the atmosphere inside is super comforting and welcoming, especially if you’re a veteran.

The food was delicious and the customer service made it a great outing for our family.
A huge shoutout to Maddie, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was very friendly super attentive and made us feel right at home.
I also want to commend Elaria for creating such a welcoming and professional atmosphere. It’s clear that they prioritize customer satisfaction here and it truly makes a difference!
We will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

Great place to come when you’re craving BBQ of any sort, and you want to relax. The staff is friendly, the food is always delicious and appetizing, lots of seating, indoors and outdoors (I like outside), tons of military and police insignias, badges, photographs and more. Comfy environment, not particularly romantic but they do have a few booths. Good for larger groups with all the assorted seating options and long tables with benches. I’ve enjoyed the pulled pork, baby back ribs, brisket, French fries, green beans with bacon, and all the desserts. They have bottled specialty sodas as well as self-serve fountain drinks. Enjoy!

Great place. Most of the food was amazing, the lean brisket was a tad dry, but the normal one was perfect.
Macncheese, great. Fries, perfect. Ribs awesome.
Just in the US for four nights (visiting from Sweden) but we are going again tonight.
Forgot to mention, was priced nice as well.

We ended up needing a last minute caterer for our wedding. I contacted mission and they accommodated us sooner for a consultation. They were super nice (entire staff) they answered all of our questions and the food is amazing. The amount of food you get is crazy. Presentation was beautiful and we got told by so many people how great the food was. If we would have booked them sooner we would have used their staff to serve the food but it wasn’t in the budget so last minute. They did have the option for regular buffet style and different add ons etc. would highly recommend anyone using them adding they also left us a cute wedding gift

Last night we had dinner at Mission BBQ and was excited as I had not eaten here before. I ordered the 3 meat combo with coleslaw. 1) the cornbread was awesome! 2) the brisket, which I ordered moist (higher fat content, more calories, more yum) was served to me with 1/2 moist and 1/2 lean. The lean brisket was so dry and was very disappointing. I was told they probably ran out but should have said something or not substituted it w/o telling me. They had cleverly hidden the lean under the moist. 3) the pulled pork was gamey and completely failed the taste test. Sadly I left that on my plate as it was unpalatable. 4) the jalapeño sausage was good right off the plate while warm, but after cooling off, it was a coagulation texture of cold fat and cheese. Again, I left that on my plate, uneaten. 5) the green beans were awesome and the serving size was perfect, not too small like some other restaurants serve. I think the “Support our first responders and veterans” is very admirable (I very much liked the decor and message, and wished that I wanted to go back for my next meal but sadly, they won’t be on my list of must have BBQ restaurants. My friend’s meal, which consisted of 1 lb of brisket and a brisket sandwich, was so dry that he had to improvise on making it edible. Since this was our only meal of the day, we felt we had to eat it….unfortunately, I won’t be going back. =(

Used to be my favorite place but the quality has SHOT DOWN over the last few months. I won’t be frequenting them anymore sorry guys but you need to pick it up! That picture is supposed to be a lean brisket!

Just had the smoked strip steak special for the first time tonight. My honest opinion…it was cooked through much more than I normally like my steaks cooked. I prefer medium rare, and this was definitely closer to well done, which made it a little tougher to chew and a little dry. Granted, being that it’s smoked and not grilled, I can understand. My main complaint is that there seemed to be absolutely no seasoning on it, no salt or pepper, just a dab of garlic butter that didn’t really do much to add to the flavor. If there was seasoning on it, it certainly wasn’t obvious. I had to add salt and pepper at my table just to give it some flavor. Unfortunately, because of the doneness of the steak and the lack of seasoning, I will most likely not be getting it again.

Besides the delicious brisket and Mac n Cheese, the service from the attendant was great. He took the time to explain how their menue works and what was a top seller on His menue. We thought they had beef ribs, and he apologized and informed us that the beef ribs would be available on Father’s Day. Additionally, the bathroom was immaculate and spelled very clean and inviting. I really appreciated that. My friend and I were the only black guests in this restaurant, and we were treated very respectfully. I was truthfully a little nervous about that, but their welcome made us feel safe. Hands down will go again, and you should try it as well!
