This place used to be phenomenal — now it’s a culinary rollercoaster that will make you laugh, cry, and question your life choices all in one meal. Naan is good (you can’t really mess that up)…but we’ll see. I’ll be back. Not sure if you should.
*** update after my most recent visit I most likely will not be returning. I went to dinner with my family spent almost $90 for a family of 5 . The portions were absolutely ridiculous I counted 8 cubed pieces of chicken swimming in about 2 cups of sauce and was served about 1 cup portion of rice. My daughter’s kids meal had the same amount of food on her plate as the regular sized meals.
we found the taste not as good and the shrimp was rubbery with that dry flavor from being overcooked. We did not say anything until the millelial music that was being played finally gave me a headache.
I have also found that the owners who have always been the cooks were not there and of course not cooking. They had apparantly hired some younger, much youngers to work and cook.
These youngers did not have the experience specially with cooking Indian food in the correct manner and this can take years to master. Consequently for the most part, the food would not taste as good as when a master would cook and these youngers are what they are, hired employees not that it is a bad thing however it is what it is with any business and this just happens to be an Indian restaurant.
Now the last item is that they do not support Veterans.
I am one and I always ask about that when I eat or shop, whatever.
If a company does not give Veteran discount, then I would not go back.. I went back to this restaurant because had something that I wanted and now………not so much and I have decreased my visits from every week to once a month and I am about to set another New Year’s resolution. This one will be alot easier to uphold.
Unless this place makes some changes, then the change that I am making will stand fast. I will not over spend on food that is not tasting good any longer.
I went back and gave compliments to the chef. Who wouldn’t after such a fantastic meal? Kudos Chef!
Outside seating in the shade on a 93 degree day. Perfect.
Bon Apetit
I stopped in for lunch. The cinnamon mint sweet tea was an absolute TREAT. Very, very refreshing!
I had the spicy lamb korma and it was tasty with plenty of spice.
I’d recommend this spot for a lunch with friends. Very comfortable setting, yummy refreshing drinks, and tasty food! A nice experience!
They are super crunchy and delicious. The breading is light and crispy. The shrimp are big and it comes with plenty! Definitely worth the money.
For my entree, I had the lamb tikka masala, medium spice. This was the perfect amount of spice. The curry was rich and savory.
This was a first time Indian food experience for my Nana. And she can be a picky eater. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, mild spice for her. The chicken was tender and she loved it! Both of our meals came with a generous amount of meat in the gravy.
Don’t forget the Mando lassi!
I am very impressed and would eat here again for sure!
