Indian food is my favorite by far. Mostly I have dined at Northern Indian restaurants. Also, Pakistani, Iraqi, and Afghani. This is my first experience with Southern Indian cuisine. I will have to google the names of the dishes to better understand and describe the dishes. Safe to say the flavors were amazing. I ordered the Vegetable Special Meal as did my wife. I am staying in the area this week and will definitely be back multiple times to further explore this dining gem.
The service was excellent. Quick service, and checked backed often as they all appeared to truly ensure an amazing dining experience.

Point to note if you have tried the weekend unlimited meal the weekday limited meal will be a little underwhelming. Weekday meal is tasty, quantity is sufficient.

Good selection of food. The mutton curry tasted just like my mom’s cooking. Rasam was awesome, and the chicken and fish curry were also good. Overall, a satisfying meal with just the right amount of spices.

Kuppanna in Little Elm is an excellent South Indian restaurant and a must-visit for authentic flavors. The biryani is outstanding rich aroma, perfectly cooked rice, and flavorful meat that tastes truly traditional. The parotta is soft, flaky, and pairs really well with their curries. Everything we tried was fresh, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The food quality and taste are consistently good, making this a great spot for South Indian cuisine lovers. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Kuppanna Restaurant. The food was truly authentic and reminded us of home — rich flavors, perfect spice levels, and fresh ingredients in every dish. Their signature South Indian dishes were especially outstanding, and everything tasted freshly prepared.

I’m not an expert on Indian cuisine- I’m a midwest country boy who uses primarily salt, MAYBE pepper, and butter almost exclusively to season my food. This food has some kick (spice) to it, rightfully so. But the mutton/lamb was good, the staff was both proactive and reactive and excited about sharing their cultural foods with those willing to give it a taste. Great experience!

I ordered food. Bought Idiyappam in the website they mentioned it will come with 5 count but there was only 3. And the coconut milk they gave was spoiled. I don’t think so how people are so lethargic while serving food to someone paying. I felt very very bad and decided not to go or order again from this restaurant.
Second thing ordered Chicken fried rice and there is no chicken in it.
