We visited on February 14th to celebrate my daughter playing in her band, and it was such a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious and we loved everything we tried. The calzones were huge — I added four ingredients and it tasted amazing. The pizzas were also excellent.

The atmosphere was very friendly, the place was full of people, and the Valentine’s Day decorations were beautiful. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

My 66th b’day and my beautiful bride took me out for a favorite, but rare meal, Veal Parm. She found Bianchi’s had veal as a regular menu item, and we took the trek. It was far more than well worth it.
Before we start off, Bianchi is the name, but the tagline should be “abbondanza” Italian for Abundance.Because that’s what you are going to get.
We ordered the cheesy bread to start. We chose the five slice option, and that’s what came, a huge platter of magnificent home baked bread covered in ooey-gooey cheesy- garlicy delight. The crispy cheese on the edges were a special treat.
My bride ordered the baked ziti. You all know I did not get the hamburger. What landed on our table was two of the largest helpings of very authentic Italian cooking. The plates were so hot that waitress Francine used a sub-plate to carry them. Ten minutes later,I was still finding steaming hot pockets in the food. And quality! My veal, even though it was a 1/4″ thick, was so tender that it cut with my fork. The cheese was as generous as on the bread, the sauce excellent, although she thought the sausage portion in her ziti was a bit skimpy. She did appreciate my donation of some veal. I managed to get through half my serving. She barely made a quarter of hers disappear. It’s definitely a boxed to go night. As a cap to the meal, we took a double order of some cannoli. I didn’t even look at them yet, so I cannot comment. As a parting comment, my bride observed that we would have to make Bianchi’s our goto place. I agree.

Didn’t expect it to be an incredibly authentic Italian restaurant, but expected chicken Vincenzo to at least come with: white sauce/cream sauce, a single mushroom, you know…. NOT be chicken marinara. They took the chicken filet, cut it into pieces, and put red sauce and cheese and called it chicken Vincenzo. Nope. Not even close.

My dad and I like the Ziti a la Bianchi. We usually go here just for that. We just had the Deluxe Combo Pizza. It was delicious. It’s the first time I’ve ever had their pizza. My niece really likes the Calzones. Most of the time we usually dine in. This last time we did take out for the pizza.

If you are craving some Italian food its a good place to stop by, but in my honest opinion it is overpriced. I got the Italian grinder and it was good but not 14.00 good, especially when they serve it with a small bag of plain Lays chips. If it came with fries then I think I wouldn’t be so bothered, but that is a extra 1.50. Overall if you have the money for an overpriced hot sub go ahead but they should honestly lower most of there prices by 3 or 4 bucks. The positive is that the staff were nice, but it couldn’t fill the hole in my wallet.

My son has been in grad school at The University of Arizona for the last several years and this is his “go to” restaurant at the end of a long day of campus work. So, needless to say, this was THE CHOICE for dinner while I was visiting him recently for the Festival of Books. We dined in Friday night, but ordered enough to take home and enjoy after the Festival on Saturday and Sunday. And, because I hadn’t tried all my son’s favorites, I returned Monday evening as he worked on his research, to pick up carry-out.

There isn’t a bad thing to say about this place, except maybe that the food is addicting. I flew back home on Tuesday and I can still mentally savor the garlic bread, and I crave the flavor of the deep fried zucchini and mushrooms. The food is DELICIOUS!!!!

The restaurant atmosphere is welcoming, family friendly and very comfortable.

The staff…super pleasant, very helpful, and just as welcoming as the dining room atmosphere. Our server, on Friday, gave us recommendations, and we tried one of them.
It was the spinach lasagna and it was SO GOOD. The garlic bread that came with it was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside with just the perfect amount of butter and garlic to make it “melt in your mouth tasty”. We also ordered a hand tossed veggie pizza (a Lenten Friday treat) and enjoyed that as well.

Monday, I returned and ordered a carry-out at the counter, then ran to the grocery store as they prepared my meal. The meal was ready when I returned and was still hot when I got it home. The gentleman taking my order was very pleasant and helpful with choosing specifics for my sandwiches. He also offered a way for me to pick-up in the drive-through, should I ever do a carry-out in the future. We had a great conversation about where hometown was, noting that we had an Ohio connection in our pasts.

Monday’s meal consisted of a chicken Alfredo pizza, 2 grilled chicken sandwiches, and (in spite of the fact that I knew it would be way too much food, but I just couldn’t pass it up) the Sampler Platter. Each item was just as good as the Friday meal. I left plenty of food behind to feed my son all week.

I’m ready for a return to Bianchi’s. It will be on my dining list every return to Tucson.

The beef lasagna was really good. The marinara sauce was delicious. The calamari was good but we wouldn’t get the calamari again. The Alfredo and baked ziti was also good. However the service was phenomenal and worth coming back to try more food.

First timer here, employee leaving and celebration. Had the Wednesday special with house salad. Food was good but could use more basil and oregano. Our server was on her game. Nice little place for a quick dinner!

This was the first time I have ever eaten there but my wife has eaten there before. We both had mini 7in pizzas. They both came with salad since we ordered the daily special. The restaurant was not very busy but most places are not right now. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was priced right and the portion size was good. They have quite a few different items on the menu. The wings were good and had a lot of meat. Great place to eat. When I go back, i will have to try more items but so far they are really good.
