Took longer than what I’d expect to get our food but when it got there we were all pleased. Son had the garlic parmesan wings and the dry pit rub. They fell off the bone and the flavor was solid. I had the porky pig sandwich and the meat was great. The only complaint about that sandwich is the bread. You need some sturdier bread to hold in that moisture. Just like everywhere the staff seemed stretched thin but everyone was friendly.

First time having dinner here at 6th Ave BBQ. Definitely made a great choice! We had prime rib and a brisket french dip. Both were delicious. The brisket was perfectly cooked and so tender. Our waitress was awesome as well. We will be stopping in again when we area in West Bend. Thank you for a great dinner and a tasty old fashioned too

Unfortunately we will not be back to this restaurant. A few days earlier we tried to order takeout from them for the first time and after being told to “hang on” the phone was set down and I sat on hold listening to the bar chatter for over 5 minutes before I gave up and hung up. A few days later we tried for the first time eating in person. The server was very nice and attentive but after getting our food there were alot of question marks: the cornbread had mold on it, the ribs were dry, the mac and cheese tasted like straight Velvetta, the coleslaw was room temperature warm bordering on hot, the ranch dressing was also warm, and the replacement “fresh” cornbread we were given was ice cold. Alot of very questionable things about food quality were evident. We barely ate most of the food. I’d love for a BBQ joint in West Bend to do well but unfortunately I can’t say I’ll be a repeat customer here.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the smoke here does not disappoint! The chef had some special hangover balls (yes I said it) that were fried balls of risotto, cheese and other things that definitely would have helped a hangover plus a dipping sauce that was just silly. The wings were great, super smoked. The sandwiches were huge and delicious. Last but not least, the fries… they are thick curly and maybe it was because they were in the box with the wings, but THEY were smokey when we re-heated them too! Yes. We had leftovers, haha.

Drove 30min to try a bloody mary. Got there at 2pm they advertise til 230. Sat down the bartender looked at us & walked away. It was like he seen my bloody mary shirt & wasn’t in the mood to make bloody. After 5min the waitress came behind the bar & said I’ll be right with you. I said just here for a loaded bloody. She said I think he put it away already. She proceeded to go check & never came back. After 5min we left. It was like they purposely took there time so they can say it was 230. That will be one bloody I never try to try again

My wife and I had dinner for the first time here just before the Rush Tribute Project concert. We had really good service from our server, “Pineapple”. She was pleasant and did a great job of making sure our dining experience was part of a great night. We even requested some Rush to be played and the bartender put some on for us RTP fans. The Mac & brisket was really good along with my brisket dinner. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, beverages and great service will guarantee that we will be back! Well done to the whole staff!
