My husband came home so excited about the OM Cheese Burger, and we planned our night around it. Unfortunately, the excitement died a very quick, cheesy death.
Our waiter was clearly triple-sat, which isn’t his fault—but it resulted in a very long wait just to get drinks and an appetizer. After 30 minutes, our cheese sticks finally arrived… stone cold. Not “warm-ish.” Cold. The cheese didn’t stretch—it snapped. That should’ve been our warning sign.
Then came the OM Cheese Burger. I ordered it medium. What I received tasted like it had been cooked directly on a charcoal briquette. Burnt. Bitter. Coal-adjacent. The cheese was gooey but somehow not hot, and the cheese sauce—served on a skillet, mind you—was cold. Cold cheese sauce on a skillet is honestly impressive in the worst way. The burger lacked flavor and was just… bad, you guys. I’m genuinely sorry to say it.
The riblets were burnt beyond recognition. Imagine tough little pieces of coal desperately trying to pass as meat, smothered in BBQ sauce that also tasted burnt. The four-cheese mac and cheese was awful, which feels like a crime. There was even bacon in it—HOW do you mess up mac and cheese with bacon?
My daughter ordered the grilled cheeseburger with waffle fries, and while it was edible, it definitely didn’t save the meal or justify the experience.
Overall, this was one of the most disappointing Applebee’s visits we’ve had. Long waits, cold food, burnt food, and flavors that just missed the mark entirely. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this one earned it. We won’t be rushing back for the OM Cheese Burger—or anything else.

Applebee’s is stepping up their food game. I and the fam went out last weekend for some eats and decide to give them a try since one person had a craving for their signature Quesadilla Burger. I ended up ordering the “New” Bourbon Street Chicken & Andouille Sausage Penne pasta dish. Although tasty and plentiful, it could have used a little more sausage. To finish the meal, I ended up ordering the “New” Sizzlin Caramel Apple Pie… It could have used a little more crust but everything was tasty. Service was good considering they had some staff not show up for work. The atmosphere was a causal family environment so come as you are. Plenty of seating available whether its a table, booth or at the bar. This location does have plenty of parking surrounding the building itself or (overflow) in the shopping center behind it.

I usually avoid Applebee’s because the service always seems to be a bit off. This isn’t isolated to this particular location. I have found the same issue across the city and country. Internationally however is totally different. I was craving a burger and decided I would go and just be prepared. To my absolute surprise everyone was on point, friendly, attentive and timely. Food came out quick and it was fresh and delicious. Kudos to the staff and management team for making my dining experience pleasurable.

The Hostess Anna was so welcoming and friendly. This was my first time at an Applebee’s in such a long time, and she made me feel like family. I will definitely be back, if only to talk to her some more!

I came last night with my girl. First off, the waiter was decent till it came time to pay. He accidentally put the food in wrong and still charged us for his screw up. The atmosphere was pretty decent. So that leaves the food. We asked for queso and chips, they didn’t have that anymore for the night, so ok cool? we ordered the chicken wonton tacos whatever. They decided to put legit coleslaw with mayo on the egg rolls, instead of lettuce and tomatoes like what’s advertised in the pictures. It was so sweet and I couldn’t stand it, neither could my girl. We both ordered bourbon steaks mine medium rare and hers was medium well. I swear me personally, the steak was so tough I couldn’t even enjoy it. it felt like rubber. You guys legit ruined my experience there along with my girls. I woke up with my stomach hurting thanks to whatever bs y’all gave us.
