These are the worst lamb chops I have ever eaten. First of all my order was supposed to be ready at 9:32 pm. I didnt received it till 9:59. The lamb chops had no seasoning at all on them but there was some type of red sauce that was just thrown on them. I asked for them well done and they were red in the middle. Im assuming this food was rushed because they were ready to close and thats unacceptable. The broccoli and the mashed potatoes were very good even though the star of the dish was horrible. I seriously doubt if I will return to this particular Longhorn.

I give 5 stars over all based soley on our waitress Steviey M, she is the absolute best waitress Ive had the pleasure of meeting. The food was good, at the atmosphere is decent. Definitely would recommend this restaurant, esp if you can get the same waitress. She is friendly, a beautiful smile, stayed on top of refills as well as stopping by the right amount of times to check to see if we needed anything. She also stopped by to let us know of a slight delay that wasn’t noticeable when waiting for our entrees. I would absolutely recommend being seated in her section!

This is not my first visit to Longhorn, but I will say that this is the worst visit that I have experience. We went to Longhorn 3/7/26 to celebrate my daughter‘s 18th birthday. We had a party of about 15-16 people.
When our food arrived, majority of everyone’s food was cold when it came out. They were getting everyone’s food mixed up.
I understand that it was a large party, however, it’s not what you say is how you say it.
I asked for napkins once our drinks arrived, the service said that he would bring them, and he never did.
I asked the server if he could clear off the table, his words to me were “ if you can put everything together, I will come back and get them”.
First of all, I do not work for longhorn, so why would I get the dirty dishes together, so that he could come back to collect them…? I am a PAYING CUSTOMER.
The server states his name was shy, at least that’s what he told me. Every time someone ask Shy a question, including myself, it was almost as if he was rushing us, I felt like he really didn’t want to be bothered with us.
This was a very IMPORTANT day for us, we were celebrating my daughter‘s 18th birthday, and I was pretty upset the entire time.
We paid $140 for our meal, plus a $25 tip, just to receive cold food, and horrible service.
The female server honestly was trying her best, but it just looked like it was too much for her to be quite honest.
My brother asked to speak to one of the managers, she came over to our table. She spoke to my brother, and I asked her if she could please collect some of the dirty dishes so that we would have more room on the table.
She picked up about 2 to 3 glasses and that was it.
They never came back to Ask if we needed any more bread or anything. My brother asked the server “Shy” a question, and he looked at my brother and pointed to the female server and stated “ she’s doing that side”.
The reason why I know the male server name is Shy, is because he was very dismissive to my family and I, so I asked him what was his name.
It was just a horrible experience at Longhorn in Newport News, located on Jefferson.

Disabled people stay away from here. I did take out. Just discharged from hospital so hoped for ease but got an absolute nightmare. Food was very late, very cold, missing entree, no one would answer phone in store. I ended up having to yell for help at the front entrance since I couldnt walk without assistance… it was humiliating. I tried to reach management that night and again the next day by phone. I even wrote a complaint to corporate….And still management has not responded.
As it stands they still owe me for items I paid for but was never given. Crickets.

Mrs Toni was a gem! We loved everything about our visit tonight. Steak was cooked perfectly, ribs were immaculate, Mac n cheese, baked potato, and broccoli were so yummy. & the margarita from the bar was just what I needed after a long day of work for a pre-valentines day dinner with my love. We can’t wait to visit again, I think she’s our new favorite waitress!

We had a small group of us. Our waiter, Prince J immediately greeted us and got our drinks. He took our order and everything came back within minutes…perfectly cooked to everyone’s request. The experience was warm and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves.

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our lunch date here. We were seated quickly, food was fast and hot. The staff was serene and kind. We will be back. It’s easy to come here and drop some big money. 10/10 would recommend. Get a big old steak and enjoy!
