Service is the reason for this review. Our family was traveling from S Carolina to Fl in the snow and needed a break. I wish I knew her name to write it here, but she was so kind to help us and wish us safe travels. Truly a sweet spot in a long journey home.

I would give a higher score than what I did but as a customer I was very dissatisfied about my experience. I ordered two things which were a Frappe with extra whip and caramel with a Big Mac (light lettuce) and both of these items somehow came to me without any of the thins I added on to it.
A manager on the clock I presume was also extremely rude to one of their employees while I waited for my order in the lobby. As a customer I don’t expect to come across these things while awaiting for my order as this also contributed to my low score rate.
I would like to give a personal shout out to Cynthia who made my visit a smidge better, I appreciate them.
All in all I’m very disappointed here that I couldn’t do a voice survey neither since I didn’t get a receipt. Im also very disappointed in the customer service in this location and the quality of their food.

McCrispy Strips were burnt, not crispy at all, and meat was kinda chewy. Weird inedible cartilage piece in the chicken McNuggets. Fries were completely unsalted and a bit cool when we got them. Missing one of the dips asked for, no ketchup available, no extra napkins available, self serve kiosk was bad (no human service existed), way too expensive for the garbage we got.

I just got my food and went to grab a fry and it looks like they were chewed and spit out into my bag. I waited in the drive through line forever because they didn’t know what order I had and we had two separate orders and they only gave us one and we had to wait for them to hand us the other one. They also always forget about the sauce that you order.

To the beautiful people of the Richmond Hill McDonald’s at the loves truckstop. Thank you for your hard work. I can’t imagine what it’s like to try to work a morning breakfast rush right off the interstate at a truckstop with a high traffic volume my hat’s off to you for your professionalism, dealing with people like me who are hangry and uncaffeinated I can only imagine the negativity you deal with just trying to do your job. I came in this morning and I myself was not at my finest and you dealt with me with grace for that, I say I’m sorry and thank you very much!

The drive thru lines are slow. I’m assuming it is because there aren’t enough people employees scheduled to keep the lines moving swiftly. Food is about as good as it can be expected coming from McDonald’s

The pie provided was over 3 hours PASS the toss time. It was burnt dry and old. Unfortunately, I didn’t recognize it until I was already over 15 miles up I-95. Given a 2 star because the service was fast but don’t let that interfere with your quality of food.

I saw a recent review about this, and I agree 1000%. The manager on duty this morning lacked customer service skills because she sat there and argued with me!! I placed a mobile order last night, I had 4 different items and one of those being a latte. They said their machine was down, would I like to replace it with something else? I said no, I rather come back tomorrow for it. They said okay, just speak with the manager and let them know. Came this morning, explained the situation and talked with the manager and she was about to refuse to do it and started arguing with me and finally she said she would THIS TIME. I get you don’t wanna give out free lattes, but I PAID for this and showed my receipt! I am giving this place 4 stars though because it is my regular McDonald’s and they are usually good, but this lady is a 0/1000. Next time, don’t argue with the customer over a $3 drink. smh

On fryday 01-30 2026 at 12:30 am. I placed my order and they told me to have a seat that they will bring my food to my table i wait 30 minutes for my food I grabbed the number they put on my table and my receipt talked to the ” manager ” and they look at me like I’m lying. So i had nothing to do but leave the place hungry, on top of that they didn’t reimbursed my money. And that to me is stealing. Thank you McDonald’s
