We have been going to this restaurant in Edison for many years. However, our visit last night was so disappointing that we don’t think we will ever go back again. I’m a steak lover, and my favorite dish has always been the bone-in ribeye. I go there specifically for that and often bring my family along, regardless of whether they are steak lovers or not. Unfortunately, last night marked the worst experience we’ve ever had. My ribeye was incredibly dry and chewy to the point that even their steak knives couldn’t cut through it. I pointed this out to our server, Glen.
To make matters worse, I don’t typically eat salad (though I should), except for Caesar salad. I ordered from their menu to-go, but when I was ready to eat today, I found a garden salad instead, which I DID NOT order. Overall, the food was very poor, and I received the wrong takeout order. It seems this place could benefit from an experienced manager; otherwise, it might face serious challenges in the future. I genuinely feel bad for them. We are NOT going back there EVER.

Been coming here for years, food is great, service is great but has a major atmosphere issue with the fact that they have a sewer problem and are aware of it and you can’t eat your meal without smelling dirty poop smell. Very disappointing that corporate expects their customers to pay the prices they do and have to put up with that smell. I have to say that till the place is renovated I wouldn’t go back there now.l

We arrived at around 4:30 Sat, not too busy. Our server Isabel was very pleasant, and helped with a gift card I wanted to use. The food came out quickly, and was very good. My wife thought her shrimp was a little spicy for her liking, but my pasta dish with shrimp & chicken was great. We ended with a chocolate thunder dessert, enough for two. Nice quiet atmosphere. A+

The Outback that saved all Outback’s for me.
Traveled here from NYC after having repeatedly bad experiences at our neighborhood Outback. It’s been over a year, and we actually mourned the loss of our favorite chain in the rotation. Was convinced to give it another try in a different state, and what a difference. Even the hosts when we walked in were inviting, and we were seated immediately on a Friday night. Our server Layla (apologies if misspelled!) was so attentive and despite clearly having quite a few tables to assist she still made sure to regularly check in and delivered our meals quickly. And Amanda, what a gem. She really took the entire night to a whole level just by being so kind. Every Outback should use this location as an example, we are so happy to add it back to our rotation (even with the drive, it’s well worth!)

The food is always great,the service very good, the drinks have very quirky names and they are delicious and all that “down under” vibe can be felt and seen throughout the place.
Since they are essentially a steakhouse beef reigns supreme, but you can have your pick of chicken or seafood if that’s your preference.
Laid back atmosphere for every occasion and celebration.
