Rump N Ribs Manchester is a restaurant I’ve visited several times, and it has consistently delivered a great dining experience. From the moment you arrive, the host sets the tone by being welcoming, professional, and a true gentleman, which immediately makes you feel well looked after. The service throughout each visit has been impeccable, attentive without being overbearing, and consistently reliable.
The food has always been spot on. The starter soup is particularly excellent and a great way to begin the meal. As expected, their ribs are a standout, cooked to perfection and full of flavor, while the steak options are all solid choices and well prepared. Everything arrives well presented and cooked as requested.
Overall, Rump and Ribs Manchester offers quality food paired with genuinely good service, making it a place I would confidently return to and highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Rump N Ribs! The food was incredible, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. But what really made the night special was the outstanding service, especially from the manager, Asif. He went above and beyond to arrange the surprise for my husband’s birthday celebration, and his energy was infectious! He made sure everything ran smoothly and that we had a memorable evening. Highly recommend this place for both the quality of the food and the exceptional service. Thanks, Asif, and the whole team at Rump N Ribs, for a brilliant night!

THE best place for ribs! Very impressed with the flavour and the way the ribs just melted in my mouth and fell off the bone.
Some of the group had steaks which they thoroughly enjoyed. I tried the peppercorn sauce, which had just the right amount of peppery taste complimented with butter.
The staff were friendly and the service was really good. This place is highly recommended.

Came all the way from London for some Ribs! Really enjoyed and loved the food and service at Rump N Ribs. Asif was a top legend and great host – he really gave a memorable experience. The ribs were off the bone and the BBQ sauce was incredibly tasty. Furthermore, the steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I cannot fault this place at all! Thank you Asif and to everyone else! 100 percent coming back again.

Was actually on the way to eat at the Indian next door when we noticed the food on the tables near the window which looked delicious so we headed in here instead. Ordered the lamb chops and the barbecue ribs and both were really good. The sauce on the ribs was full of flavour and the ribs were large and meaty. The service was good and we were served quickly too. Maybe the side of chips could have been a little bigger but all in all it was very satisfying and delicious.

I came here and I had a disappointing experience. The manager overly pushy trying to get us to order stuff we did not want, even initially ignoring my request to not have ribs with BBQ sauce due to my dietary requirements. After a back and forth he, agreed to not include the BBQ sauce. When I state I don’t want something, that doesn’t mean I want a debate on why I should have it. He was very attentive with my young daughter, which I appreciate he bought out apple juice and mashed potato which was a nice gesture, but he should really ask the parents before intervening and feeding her himself. The restaurant was quite quiet when we attended, which meant the manager kept interrupting our meal with jokes and banter, which we did not want.
When it came to the bill, I was charged twice. I did not realise this until checking my accounts. I contacted them via instagram and they did not respond. I left it because I had a lot on, but only when doing my accounts I realised this issue was not resolved. I contacted them but they said they would only issue the refund if I had 2 receipts saying the payment was taken twice which I did not have. When I rang I was told to come in and see what they can do. I came all the way back to speak with the manager, bear in mind parking is a nightmare in the area. The manager just told me in person the same thing he said on the phone that they need two receipts. Not only did he ignore my bank statement which showed the 2 payments being taken, but why waste my time and tell me to come in just to say you can’t do it. He told me as it was a while back there is a slim chance of a refund. Surely if a mistake has been made the onus is on the restaurant to at least make an attempt to try and resolve it. I was given an email address to contact but have not received a response. I will not ever return under any circumstance.

Visited 29/06/2025, made reservation in advance as restaurant is popular. Greeted by the manager on entry who instantly made us feel welcome even commenting on my son’s football shirt being worn which he liked. We were seated immediately and order taken shortly after by knowledgeable and attentive staff. The food came in good time and cooked beautifully and the beef tasted phenomenal! The sauces ordered (mushroom and peppercorn) were also tasty, I’d say the chips and seasonable veg were average, enhanced only by the sauces. We didn’t feel rushed and the manager came to check on us and all others who were dining to ensure everything was satisfactory. A fantastic touch on the way out was that the manager again liking my sons football shirt (although did make me chuckle as he paraded my son earlier in front of one the chefs who must be an opposing fan ) gave my son a cadburys family share bar of chocolate, which instantly made him smile and topped off a fantastic experience.

The owner is an absolute delight—funny, warm, and incredibly welcoming. If you’re a Manchester United fan, be sure to wear your jersey; he’ll have you chatting about football long before you even take your seat!

Our favorite place for ribs! We always order buffalo ribs and were never disappointed. Great and fast service. Nice atmosphere. Just a note, they don’t serve any alcohol, but there are plenty places around if you want to go before or after. Looking forward to coming again.

It was the best ribs I’ve ever had! As my son said, “You don’t need teeth to eat—it melts in your mouth.” The steak and burger were great as well.
For sides, we ordered mashed potatoes and fries, and they were amazing.
But the highlight of the experience was the exceptional attention we received from the manager. He personally took the time to ask about our preferences and then ordered for us based on what we like.
