My husband and I came in here after a doctor appointment, he ordered the steak fajita said it was one of the best he’s ever had, I had the amazingly freshly grilled steak salad. I could only eat 1/2 of it so I brought the rest home and had it for dinner.
Not only was the food delicious, the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere, the waiter was kind, polite, and did his job very well, plus the food came out in a timely manner.
I can’t speak for the mens restrooms but, I love the big large doors on and in the womens room plus the counter top sinks are awesome and the restroom was spick and span.
In case anyone is wondering, NO I am not in anyway affiliated with this company or it’s owners I’m not being paid for this review I’m just a Noone telling someone how good it was.

Four salsas were presented with chips … and WOW! Two were ones I’ve never heard of, and they were DELICIOUS! We ordered a soup, and the bowls were as big as our heads! LOL.

Was part of a group reservation after a wedding rehersal. We had more family show up than we originally planned for but all was good. The staff stepped up and set up more tables and chairs. Ordering went about a smooth as can get with 70+ people with kids. The meals came out within 30 minutes and everyone was happy. Plates were packed full of good food for a reasonable cost. Some folks (my wife included) had to take some home. No complaints. Staff was very patient with us, so many thanks to them for a wonderfull evening. Highly recommend this fine restaurant.

Normally one of my top places to eat but this day I wasn’t too impressed. Refried beans were cold and my dessert was hard as rocks, which they fixed again to go for me. Server couldn’t remember who had what drinks so when I got a refill she gave me diet DP instead of regular.

We arrived on a Friday afternoon around 3 so they were not busy and we had great service. I usually only eat at small family run Mexican restaurants but this was on the way to my mom’s house and I had never tried it. The chips are perfectly fresh not oily. The little salsas. At first I was like oh one of those places. I tried the green one, my favorite, ate it all and didn’t share. Then the dark green one, super good. I ordered the salad with chicken. It came out looking like a work of art. It was tasty even though I said no cheese. We really liked the food and hope to visit again soon.

We had 4 people sit down and eat and 3 of us got our food meanwhile it’s 15 min later and they still haven’t brought out the 4th meal. Also don’t expect the t bone steak to me any good, the picture of the steak looks good and thick with flavor but it’s nothing like the picture, the steak was incredibly thin and way over cooked. It also had the texture of rubber

I recently visited El Patron in Tulsa with my family to celebrate my little sister’s birthday. Every time we travel to Tulsa, we make it a point to eat here because the food is usually amazing. However, this visit was a bit disappointing. One of my family members ordered the aguachiles, but unfortunately, the dish was overwhelmingly sour—there was so much lemon that it became unpleasant and even caused some stomach discomfort.
I ordered the mojarra frita, which tasted great, but I never received the two sides that were supposed to come with it: corn on the cob and frijoles charros . When I mentioned this to our waiter, he asked if I still wanted them. I said no to the frijoles since they were meant to be eaten with the main dish, but I did request the corn. Unfortunately, the corn never arrived either.
Overall, while we enjoyed the food as always, the service during this visit was not up to their usual standards. I hope this was just an off day, as we’ve had great experiences here before.

Great food, it was hot and exceeded my expectations. We loved their salsa.
The Verde Salsa has pineapple in it and was amazing. The service was pretty good considering how busy they were. The ambiance could’ve been a little better. It was so busy and kinda loud like a cafeteria. Other than that We have no complaints. It was delicious! We recommend this place if you want Authentic Mexican Food!

Two of us went to lunch at 12 on a Wednesday. The place is huge with a lot of seating, but there were only about 8 tables full. We ordered 2 entre and 2 non-alcoholic drinks. We spent $27 to $30 each. The server was nice and she was quick and attentive. I ordered ceviche and my friend ordered a carnitas plate. It was a lot of food that we ended up taking it to go. It was a good portion and the presentation of the food was great. However, I did not like the ceviche. It was dry and tasteless. We got complimentary chips and 4 different types of salsa. Again, the presentation was nice, but I only liked the red sauce. There was a sweet green sauce that looked like it might be made of tomatillo, but the taste was strangely sweet. A roasted red sauce that looked interesting, but it was not for me. I have no idea what the third sauce was, but it looked and tasted like ranch dressing. I thought that was strange as a pairing with Mexican food, but my friend loved it so much that she ordered an extra 2 servings. The one sauce that I did like, looked like a traditional red salsa. The flavor was not spectacular, but I thought it was better than the others. What I did like was the piña aqua fresca that I took it home with me. There were fresh corn tortillas made in display which was cool. They were so very good. Although my menu did not knock me off my feet, I will try this place again for the other menus. There are plenty of others to choose from.

BLUF/SUMMARY: Busy and bustling, with good ambiance, but ultimately serving well below average Mexican fare with disappointing service. Don’t be fooled by the hype – avoid this one.
DETAILS: Ate at the Broken Arrow branch a few months ago and enjoyed decent menudo. We thought we’d give this new place a try. It was so bad that I had to write a review.
We got there at 6pm on a Friday night. Extremely busy – but we were lucky to get a seat for 2 right away. Waitress was ignorant of the menu when I asked about certain dishes. “I’m new and I don’t know what is.” She literally couldn’t pronounce the item. This is inexcusable on management’s part. Allowing untrained staff to work alone and serve customers like this is a reflection of poor management and a lack of accountability.
Food was bland, esp the Menudo. Meat was old and discolored. The guacamole and pork belly dish was okay – it came out cold rather than crunchy as it should have been. My wife’s enchiladas dish was okay, nothing memorable.
Not wasting further words and typing here. Disappointing. Lots of other much better Mexican places in the Tulsa area.
