Nice building and decent atmosphere. Our waiter could not speak English, but was very happy to help us with our extremely limited German. The steak and burger were ok, the potato was good and the bread was exceptional.

Visit as a tourist from the UK, very welcoming and the food is always delicious. Steak is amazing but a surprise favourite is always the American dressing on the salad. Baked potato is incredible.
However, bare in mind that the Shandy on the UK drinks menu is not a Shandy like in UK. Its like a shot of wine!? A funny cultural education.

Visited this place during a trip with my family in July. The food was ok, meat very tender. Sauce could be better. Service was nice even though the waitress/waiter did not speak fluent English. However the place where it is located, is indeed very beautiful surrounded by some nice german architectural houses.

The place is really nice, looks like a village house and inside the atmosphere is also nice. The staff seemed like they just want to finish, so not much patience with the guests. The steak was delicious and well done and the fries very fresh. I was only disappointed with the french onion. It is just sautéed onions in a broth with some cheese on top. But nothing like the French onion soup.

I was ripped off by this establishment. They make up charges that are not listed on the menu to inflate the bill and even charge for items you didn’t order. On top of that, the meat is not very good — it’s probably old and overly seasoned.
