Oscar steakhouse is definitely a staple place to go to. You definitely got reservations and got a booth. That shows the fremont experience area. What a bright and beautiful view. Now if you’re sensitive of lights, definitely. As for a booth, that is more hidden, and secluded from the window.

The service is good in a way that is more like a professional waiter would go up in a dry manner.Be very extremely attentive to you and give you explanation of everything about the food.So you understand what you’re getting. Don’t expect them to be gideon friendly per say. Instead expect good butler like service.

The atmosphere has some volume, but you can still talk amongst each other at the table. They don’t have to use very much lighting in here.As the fremont experience lights up the restaurant itself.

We got a seafood platter and we got the rebecca’s steak bone in. The seafood platter was absolutely fresh. And that briny sea taste you expect from good quality seafood. The steak was cooked to perfection at medium rare. We got the lobster, mac and cheese, which was extremely devilish and creamy.

The price was pretty high, but it is expected from a quality restaurant like this. This would be definitely a spot to visit again on a special occasion.

Atmosphere is classic‑Vegas glamour: the décor, lighting, memorabilia, glass dome, etc., give it a nostalgic steakhouse feel.

Steak quality is generally praised. Many visitors like the aged or prime cuts, and some say they get good value compared to other high‑end steakhouses.

The best sides, mashed potatoes was one in a lifetime experience.

However, there are a few downsides to be aware of. For the price you pay, expectations are high — and sometimes they aren’t fully met. My steak was a little drier than I prefer, and one of the starters arrived cold. Also, when it’s busy (especially during happy hour or peaks), the wait times and service consistency can dip.

One thing I looked for and didn’t find: clear halal options or halal‑certified meat. If you require halal food, this restaurant likely won’t meet that need (at least from what I could see). No menu item was labeled halal, and there was no indication of halal supply — so I’d recommend calling ahead or choosing a place which explicitly advertises halal if this is important to you.

Overall, Oscar’s Steakhouse is a solid choice if you want that upscale Vegas steakhouse feel, great location, and classic décor. Just go in with realistic expectations.

Oscar’s Steakhouse was incredible! Some of the best oysters and steak I’ve had, and the views can’t was incredible! The is definitely a great place to impress company while they’re in town.

The service was impeccable, and I love the old school, elegant steakhouse vibe. If this place looks familiar, that’s probably because you saw it in the movie Casino!

Highly recommend the oysters and Tomahawk steak. Make sure to park in the Plaza parking garage to get validated parking.

Oscar’s is, without exaggeration, the finest steakhouse I have experienced to date. From the moment one enters, the setting conveys understated elegance, white tablecloths, refined décor and an atmosphere that feels effortlessly sophisticated rather than ostentatious.

The service is exemplary, attentive, polished and genuinely warm, striking that rare balance between professionalism and charm. The steak itself was exceptional, perfectly prepared, beautifully presented and of a quality that lingers in the memory long after the meal has ended.

For any true steak enthusiast visiting Las Vegas, Oscar’s is not merely a recommendation, it is an essential destination. To come to the city and not dine here would be rather like travelling to Paris and neglecting to see the Eiffel Tower. An unforgettable experience in every respect.

Had an amazing dining experience at Oscars. Excellent service. Amazing flavorful dishes. Bone marrow was delicious. Jason was a great server. Fun historical venue for a steakhouse. Will go again.

This place is one of the best steakhouses in Vegas without paying the “strip” hotel prices. It is near the Fremont Experience which makes it easy to find something to do right after dinner. I had the French Onion Soup, the Short Rib Pasta, and shared a filet with a colleague. All were outstanding. Nick and Alfredo provided attentive and genuine service. We also had the popular cocktails including a purple gin cocktail, the Siempre Sol, and the Smokeshow.

Went to Vegas to celebrate my best friend’s 53rd birthday and shared the experience at Oscar’s. Was out there for a convention and last minute called the concierge to get a two top booth with a view on extremely short notice was not anticipating them NOT being able to pull it off it was extremely packed in Vegas with the national rodeo in town however like always they did not fail. I did not even mention that it was his birthday and within 5 minutes reservations were made for 7:15
Our server did not miss with making a suggestion of the macaroni and bacon and jumbo asparagus my 20 oz ribeye was cooked to perfection smothered in butter just the way I like it! needless to say Oscars is my absolute favorite steakhouse on the planet and trust me I’ve had my fair share of fine dining experiences but nothing compares to these guys top notch service and even better food with a view that’s to die for it is quintessential Vegas in my opinion

Really enjoyed our meal. Our servers were great with a good attitude and professional. We chose the patio but quickly realized the outdoor area was the best so they moved us. Excellent view. I wanted inside originally but glad we went outside. The steak was perfectly cooked, sides delicious, drinks on point. The prices weren’t outrageous either like most steakhouses. I will definitely good back.

I put my full name on this place as a must go to in Vegas. I love the staff and the food. I have been coming here for over a year now and the experience has been nothing less than 5 stars. The nest food, the best staff and the best overall happy hour. I challenge someone to find a better overall place in downtown Vegas.

Signed and sealed.
