The service is good in a way that is more like a professional waiter would go up in a dry manner.Be very extremely attentive to you and give you explanation of everything about the food.So you understand what you’re getting. Don’t expect them to be gideon friendly per say. Instead expect good butler like service.
The atmosphere has some volume, but you can still talk amongst each other at the table. They don’t have to use very much lighting in here.As the fremont experience lights up the restaurant itself.
We got a seafood platter and we got the rebecca’s steak bone in. The seafood platter was absolutely fresh. And that briny sea taste you expect from good quality seafood. The steak was cooked to perfection at medium rare. We got the lobster, mac and cheese, which was extremely devilish and creamy.
The price was pretty high, but it is expected from a quality restaurant like this. This would be definitely a spot to visit again on a special occasion.
Steak quality is generally praised. Many visitors like the aged or prime cuts, and some say they get good value compared to other high‑end steakhouses.
The best sides, mashed potatoes was one in a lifetime experience.
However, there are a few downsides to be aware of. For the price you pay, expectations are high — and sometimes they aren’t fully met. My steak was a little drier than I prefer, and one of the starters arrived cold. Also, when it’s busy (especially during happy hour or peaks), the wait times and service consistency can dip.
One thing I looked for and didn’t find: clear halal options or halal‑certified meat. If you require halal food, this restaurant likely won’t meet that need (at least from what I could see). No menu item was labeled halal, and there was no indication of halal supply — so I’d recommend calling ahead or choosing a place which explicitly advertises halal if this is important to you.
Overall, Oscar’s Steakhouse is a solid choice if you want that upscale Vegas steakhouse feel, great location, and classic décor. Just go in with realistic expectations.
The service was impeccable, and I love the old school, elegant steakhouse vibe. If this place looks familiar, that’s probably because you saw it in the movie Casino!
Highly recommend the oysters and Tomahawk steak. Make sure to park in the Plaza parking garage to get validated parking.
The service is exemplary, attentive, polished and genuinely warm, striking that rare balance between professionalism and charm. The steak itself was exceptional, perfectly prepared, beautifully presented and of a quality that lingers in the memory long after the meal has ended.
For any true steak enthusiast visiting Las Vegas, Oscar’s is not merely a recommendation, it is an essential destination. To come to the city and not dine here would be rather like travelling to Paris and neglecting to see the Eiffel Tower. An unforgettable experience in every respect.
Our server did not miss with making a suggestion of the macaroni and bacon and jumbo asparagus my 20 oz ribeye was cooked to perfection smothered in butter just the way I like it! needless to say Oscars is my absolute favorite steakhouse on the planet and trust me I’ve had my fair share of fine dining experiences but nothing compares to these guys top notch service and even better food with a view that’s to die for it is quintessential Vegas in my opinion

French onion soup was great, just a lil too salty
Lobster bisque is salty too
Steak are bit of well done
Lamb chops are tender, fair enough
Burger patty are soft and temder and juicy.. maybe the portion is too big for me.. the first few butes was good, and my satisfaction margin drop afterwards lolll
