While staying at the hotel across the street for the evening my party of four went to this restaurant as it looked inviting from the street. The service was wonderful – we were looked after very well by Elidé who was great and made us feel at home. The food and wine was good too and we had a lovely time. Would recommend.

We’ve bern to León in Bourges and when we stayed at a hotel in Saran and saw this further down the street we decided to go ahain since we enjoyed our dinner in Bourges. Well, the staff is nice and friendly but the food was not as well prepared as in Bourges. The mussels were good but the salmon was a bit overdone and small. The lava cake looked old. Same restaurant, different quality.

First customers in restaurant at 6.30pm. Friendly lady took our order. Aperitifs came promptly. Order take for lobster but only after sometime told not on. Waited for our bottle of wine. On 3rd request gave up and cancelled it. Food is acceptable but v poor service from front of house. Ate here 12 mths ago and was lovely. Seems must be new owners, management or staff. A lot of disgruntled looking customers waiting for food tonight. Won’t return.

Popped in tonight for a meal with our dogs. The gentleman that greeted us was very polite and friendly, we had a Very lovely waitress, great food and service, only to be let down by the rude man with grey hair and glasses that looks like Eddie Jordan. He whispered something to the lady on the till after seeing we had 20% of the food card we picked up at the hotel we were staying at. We did not get 20% off our food. And as we don’t have enough French to argue the fact. You win. We won’t be coming back. And please don’t leave your usual response Leon. Just put into practice what you preach, from all of your negative feedbacks..I work in retail, and if I kept getting the same disappointing reviews,.I would have a long and hard talk with your team!

We had a meal to take out as we were staying in the hotel nearby and arrived late. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food, which was excellent, arrived quickly. This was a much better option for us than using one of fast food chains – far better quality food.
