Got takeout; which was fast and easy to order (via phone) but a little difficult on pickup. Very busy place. Got there and waited a good 10 mins before anyone even acknowledged us. After pickup and eating the food was much better experience! Between our party we had a good variety of food: creole shrimp, chicken with garlic, conch fritters, roasted pork, fried green plantains, tostones, key lime pie and flan.
Very tasty and large portions! Key lime was delicious – one of my favorites on this trip so far!

The food was incredible! We had conch fritters and tostones to start. Wow! Then a Cuban sandwich and rice and beans to share for dinner. Outstanding! Then, we had to try a flan, of course. Absolutely amazing! The service was prompt and friendly without being hovering.

The food was absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered was full of flavor, incredibly fresh, and very authentic. The steak was cooked perfectly and paired so well with the white rice, black beans, and sweet plantains. The creole shrimp was packed with flavor, and the ropa vieja was tender and delicious. Portions were generous, and every dish felt comforting and homemade.

And according to my friend… the guys were super hot — including the local sheriffs . Great food and great vibes. Would definitely come back.

We were seated inside, it was raining and honestly at first I thought we were going to just order takeout. One of the staff had us come inside. I thought I was in Cuba enjoying great food at an authentic Cuban restaurant. I have been wanted Cuban food for a while and where I’m from it’s not available. I never reached for the seasoning! Not needed.. my husband ate all his food nice spot. Oh the service was superb. Lastly, Cuban Coffee

Small restaurant on the main highway running through Marathon. Food is very good and reasonably priced. We have been in the Keys for a week and this perhaps was our best meal so far. Place is busy, even on a Tuesday night, with a lot of takeout orders. Be aware of the 15% service charge and 3% credit card fee automatically added to each bill. Would definitely come back again.

A small spot right on the main highway in Marathon with very good food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Indoor seating is tight, but there’s a more spacious covered patio with picnic tables. We went at 4:30 and ordered takeout at the counter—parking was easier earlier, and it was less crowded. We reheated the food later, and the portions were generous enough for a second meal. We ordered rice and beans and green plantains as our entrée sides—very tasty! Note that a 15% service charge and a 3% credit card fee are automatically added, which felt reasonable given the value of the entrée prices. We’ll be back to try the Cuban sandwich and Cuban coffee!

We had crispy whole yellowtail which is incredibly good. the fish skin was fried to crispy, but the inside remains soft and tender. The atmosphere is not really like a typical “restaurant”, but casual and friendly.

And why not?? Sure it’s not a five star resort in a commercially viable location. But who cares?? The foods delicious, that atmosphere is chill, sitting outside or inside we enjoyed the food. This is the first time I tried Cuban food and let me tell you it did not disappoint. This is not Mexican food please do not ask for hot salsa and chips. Other than that (relax). Enjoy yourself!

Perfect place on the road to key west. Everything is very fresh and very good, Cuban sandwiches, key lime pie, Cuban coffee, the music, the service. Highly recommended stop.

The prices here were reasonable, but the food was just okay. Maybe it was just the steak Cuban sandwich we ordered, but it felt pretty dry and the bread wasn’t toasted at all. The flavor was decent, just not great.

What really threw us off was that they automatically added a 15% service charge (tip) — even for takeout. We didn’t select any tip option, yet it still got charged. That’s honestly outrageous for a to-go order. Just something to keep in mind before ordering.
