There is a large step to enter if you are in a wheelchair you will need help. The food was good. The rye bread was special. The pickles and very soft and delicious. I have been to delis and the portions are larger and the corn beef has a deeper taste. It’s just a litter than true German flavors. So I took a star off for that. Parking can be very hard and so can seating. But its worth the wait. I say try it once.

I bought the #1 which is their regular corned beef reuben and I must say with the utmost confidence; this sandwich is really good! It’s definitely better than the brown bag deli. No hate towards the other shop but im a reuben guy and this is better than theirs. The pasta salad is also amazing. Definitely will come again!

I had the #79 Todd is my co-pilot and a fresh fruit salad.
Both were EXCELLENT!
The fruit was super fresh not mushy and soggy. It came with a variety of fruits. Tangerines, blueberries, strawberries cantaloupe and honeydew. A perfect blend.
My sandwich was made with grilled marinated chicken applewood smoked bacon slices of avocado , lettuce, tomatoes, red onion and homemade ranch dressing. On something called farm bread that was soft with a great crust. I was really happy with my food.
It was picked up by my coworker and my first time having Katzingers.
Will definitely have them again.

We stopped here for lunch on a road trip. Generous portion size on great tasting sandwiches. Loved the pickles as well. The place was packed with people and hence the wait time was a bit long (we were also very hungry). But their food is definitely worth the wait.

The best sandwiches in Columbus! We come to Katzinger’s at least once a month, and it never disappoints. We have a few go to’s (#41 and #16), but we like to try a new one each time we go. Every single one has been great!
Tonight we got #57 Franklin’s Kibbetz, which has homemade mozzarella and pesto and added turkey (bottom right).
We also got #5 Mimi’s Melody, which has their homemade tuna salad on grilled rye (bottom left).
Next we got our favorite, #41 Phil Katzinger’s Club, which has their homemade chicken salad, bacon, and Honeycup mustard (top left).
Finally we got #3 Ari’s Open Door, which had pastrami, salami, and cream cheese (top right).
The service is also amazing – the workers are kind and even gave us free bagels tonight as they were closing! Must try.

Fantastic Reuben! Homemade sourkraut, great juicy pastrami, the bread had the perfect amount of chew, and great flavor. I would definitely recommend the Reuben! However I just wish there was more there was too many bites where I only got bread and dressing. And I have had better Reubens, however this is still top tier and would recommend!!

Semi hot food. Smaller portions.
But this is what you would 100% expect for a gird locked place like this.
If they waited to make everyone’s food pipping hot the waits would be crazy.

We had been waiting to go to this deli as we heard great things. The sandwiches were great. We got the soup and 1/2 sandwich combo. I got the Matza ball and my husband got the chicken noodle. The broth was the same for both and is good, homemade, but lacked a little flavor. We thought it was awesome that they had 2 barrels in the middle of the dining room where you can choose a pickle. One holds garlic and the other dill. You can either put it in a plastic tray or you can take it with you. It’s self-service, you order at the counter then they bring it to your table. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. It’s very comfortable, no frills, nothing fancy, just like comfortable. I liked the we are who we are vibe that it gave.

Katzinger’s is a German deli and sandwich shop. I got the Jack Does The Funky Chicken #69 and it was delicious. My partner got Mike and Rich Follow the Bubble #76 that was also very good. They have an assortment or sides, chips, and desserts. We got their New York cheesecake, which was great. The place has a really neat atmosphere with very friendly staff. They are rather pickle themed with barrels of free pickles so if you’re a pickle person you should definitely give this place a try.
