We came here 5th jan 26 and we weren’t blown away but we weren’t upset, the experience is really cool and the food was pretty good, but this is the place for you if you “eat with your eyes ” the main let down was the service, the way they’ve organised everyone by their coats is cool, and all the other servers looked amazing hence the extra star but we had Brian (I think) and he just wasn’t on it that day, multiple times he walked away during ordering, he also forgot to write to of our dishes.

Without question, the highlight dining experience of our Cancún trip. The Green Hat Pasta, freshly made in-house daily, was refined & vibrant, the beef fillet with pepper sauce exquisitely tender & balanced, + the burrata bruschetta impeccably fresh. Gracious, attentive service from Jonathan & Fatima. Tiramisu & Spanish Coffee to finish the exceptional night.

This is a very good choice for Italian food. We went for lunch and were impressed by the freshness of everything. The fact that they make the pasta by hand and prepare it tableside adds a unique touch to the experience. The ravioli gorgonzola I had was delicious; the texture of the ravioli and the quality of the sauce were both spot on. It’s a solid restaurant that delivers on its promises.

The table side prepared spaghetti on a cheese wheel was lukewarm. The mixed drinks were priced higher than an entree with no mention of price on the menu. I get it. Its a fancy restaurant but it would have been nice to know I was getting a $110usd bill after ordering roughly $40usd worth of food and two drinks. I did leave for a generous tip in the $110. It’s not that I can’t afford it. It just seemed opportunistic. Aside from that the food and service was good.

I wouldn’t recommend the beef carpaccio, it’s says it comes with truffle but it doesn’t taste like that . The penne al vodka was the best dish and the pizza nothing special . You have a nice view to the Laguna

We love cenecola. We have been coming here for years and the green hats are so delicious they just recently moved to the mall and the restaurant is now very lathe and just so so beautiful. We love going here and we will definitely be back. It is amazing to watch them make the pasta through the window and honestly the pasta is the best I’ve bed had we love being g Abel to be sore of this community and it’s some thing we look forward to every year. It is so special that we have a family away from home that is so welcoming. And so comforting. We never have an issue and we will hopefully continue to come here for many years. My grand mother use to come here and now my grandchildren will too one day

Both carpaccios, seafood risotto, and the drink selection were phenomenal. Management came to greet and chat with you. The patio is nice, quiet, and relaxed with a great view of the marina. Highly recommend this location over the Isla location.

Definitely a supreme Italian restaurant. No wonder you have to have a reservation. My friend brought us here and highly recommended. Everything we ordered was wonderful. The carpaccio is the best I had so far. Loved risottos. They make their pasta in house and have a live display window.

We were here 1/3/25. This place is beautiful and offers an amazing view of the canal, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. We were seated inside and still had a lovely view of the canal. It was a very windy and cool evening, so we were glad to sit indoors. The restaurant even provided blankets for guests seated outside, which was a thoughtful touch.
When we started looking through the wine list, I checked some options on my app. The server initially said, “I don’t know if we have this, but I’m pretty sure we don’t,” regarding our first choice of wine. Supposedly, they didn’t have our first option, and the server instead pointed us toward more expensive bottles. We declined those suggestions and ended up choosing a decent bottle for $80.
As for the food:
• Caprese Salad: Hard to eat due to the baby tomatoes.
• Frito: Very good, tasty, and fresh.
• Caesar Salad: Good and generous enough to share.
• Margherita Pizza: Just okay but paired well with the wine we ordered.
• Lasagna: A disappointment. The pasta was overcooked, mushy, and bland. We had to ask for salt and oregano. I wouldn’t order this again.
• Chocolate Soufflé: This was not a soufflé but rather a molten lava cake. When I questioned it, the server insisted it was a soufflé and then pretended not to understand me, even though I was speaking Spanish.
I’m torn about returning here. While the appetizers were good and the wine we selected was enjoyable, the lasagna was a letdown, and the server seemed to push expensive bottles of wine, which left a bad impression. However, the beautiful canal views, particularly from the outdoor seating area, make it an appealing spot to enjoy a good appetizer and a bottle of wine.

All the restaurants facing the Lagoon have amazing views. On top of that Cenacolo has excellent food with it’s hand-made pastas and delicious choices. An overall great choice.
