If you are looking for a quick, inexpensive, ready to go, delicious bento, look no further. Mamaya has all that you’re looking for to get in and out if you’re in a hurry or if you are looking to sit. There is a small area to enjoy your bento. I had the Katsu Don, which was done very well. The restaurant is very clean, and Avi, the young lady, was very helpful in allowing me to photograph inside the store. She was a little shy and would not let me photograph her.

Such a lovely place to pick up a quick bite to eat. Various yummy ready-made bentos, sushi, salads. And you get a free bottle of water with each bento!! They have a punch card that can get you a free bento once the card is completed! Convenient location-next to Safeway in the Kapolei shopping center , ample parking, friendly staff. Stop by if you are in the area!

Not japanese food, it’s hawaiian style bento. I just got back from japan and the only thing that’s close to japanese food there is their triangle musabi which btw is not what it’s actually called. Good for quick, cheap eats, but not japanese food. May wanna stop false advertising.

Are you looking for a quick pick up Japanese bento in the Kapolei area? Stop looking; this is the right location for you. Shirokiya comes to mind, namely the older version of the restaurant. It’s a cozy little shop that surely offers a broad range of different grinds to choose from.

Went there on Monday about 930a. Located in the Kapolei market place, so there’s lots of free parking. There’s seating area, however for me, it’s more a pick and go. Very organized and clean… which i like. I purchased futomaki (a little wet but the sushi rice flavor i like), karaage squid (good flavor but not hot) and manapua (bread to meat ratio good, flavor good but meat a little hard). I would actual go here again for a quick flavor of okazuya.
