Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Great menu variety-Great food and friendly service. Was seated right away and a cute little pastry bar.Clean, friendly, and consistently great food. The service is always welcoming, and it’s one of those places we look forward to every year. We come back annually and love it every time.

We were lucky enough to be in Ocean City the week they opened full time. Loved the colorful vibe and the friendly service. The food, fantastic! Great chipped beef, tender biscuits and extensive menu. Definitely worth checking out!

The restaurant is older and had high ratings on Google. I tried it had to park by some dumpsters where old eggs and food was all-over the ground. First appearances was not great. It had a line, they seated us quickly. The table was a front seat looking at the street. The waitress was not super friendly and did just an ok job, we had to ask when she did come back for drinks and butter. The waffles were thick and not fluffy, I like the Belgian waffles that are airy. The corned beef hash looked terrible. The food was Ok. I had a ham and cheese omelet with toast, I split a waffle with my wife. She had a bowl with a side of sausage gravy which was delicious. My daughters had a ham steak breakfast with scrambled eggs and toast. My other daughter had the same with thin ham and a side of corned beef hash. It was an Ok experience and I might try again but I would like to try other places first.

Been to OCMD many times and never stopped in at Laytons, but glad we did. It was the best breakfast we’ve had in OCMD. Our server was friendly and the service was fast, but did not lack quality. I couldn’t leave without trying a donut. 10/10. We’ll be definitely coming back for breakfast the next time we’re down.

This place is a must!! Breakfast was delicious and well worth the price. Everyone was friendly and service was excellent. We will definitely be going back! I thought the donuts would have been hard sitting on the shelves but nope the donuts tasted great! Wish we would have bought more to bring home.

Excellent breakfast spot! Best way to put seafood in your breakfast meal! Also freshest donut I’ve had. Excellent portions for the price and freshest food! Great place to stop for breakfast. Highly recommended. Staff is very friendly and courteous.

In all the years I have been to Ocean City. I’ve never had the opportunity to stop by this restaurant. Four of us stopped by as they opened on a weekday morning. Since we arrived a little before opening, we were greeted by Shawn, who took outstanding care of us and let us in.
Shawn opened the doors, got us seated and we had coffee almost immediately. An occasional patron or two, who appeared to be regulars, filtered in. For breakfast we ordered eggs Benedict, pancakes, and waffle and eggs. Overall, a pretty good breakfast with outstanding service. I never had to ask for more coffee, and Shawn checked in with us frequently.
When I return in the summer, I will bring my family here. We typically stay above 60th St. or higher but it is worth the trip. The place did have a family vibe which was nice.
Why you are here, you should check out the various wall decorations. There is quite a lot of history here and it is quite fascinating.
Hope you get the opportunity to stop in and have a meal.

The fried potatoes were pretty yummy and the croissant is probably wholesale bought, so it was soft and balanced with butter that you find at local supermarkets.
