Large Pizza is huge.!! I love big size Pizza. We ordered A GoodFellas Pizza. But I don’t like Jalapeños (it’s a good but after eat Jalapeño I always sick my stomach so bad. I think i can’t eat spicy food anymore ) so when we ordered this pizza we put on the note no jalapeño please. And they made perfect pizza for me. And we enjoyed pizza and super delicious and yummy. When My husband picked pizza up. Crews were nice and kind, pizza is warm enough and ready to pick up and inside restaurant is clean, neat and organized. They have so many options and choices. I will be back again.!

Update Ocrober 24, 2024…..Unfortunately, Bessolo is now closed. The good news is that Dan, the owner, has intention to reopen an abbreviated version of Bessolo inside his Kiggins Theater location.
Great food experience served by friendly and efficient staff.
Bessolo Pizza at the site of the former Vinnies is located along the lower Main St. strip.
While this is not a “first-date impress me venue,” the location is convenient and functional.
My order was taken promptly, and selections were explained. I ordered a small garden salad and a LARGE strombolli.
The salad came out first and was very fr esh and large enough for both of us to share. Excellent! The strombolli ( new to me ) came out in about 10-15 minutes. It needed to be made fresh and then baked —sort of like a pizza. The stombolli , large size , was a monster–huge! Layered with meats and cheese and a slathering of mustard, the strombolli is then baked to a golden browned and served hot. The flavor was superb. The gooey cheeses blended with the meats with the funky warm mustard inside, adding an interesting and tasty twist. The amount was over the to-p–enough to take more than half back home for a midnight snack or 2 or 3!
Prices were reasonable and represented good value.
Handicap doable.
Final take–Excellent and highly recommended . My best recommendation is that I will be back sooner rather than later.

Great lunch pizza and salad deal. Would recommend for a lighter lunch and the salad and pizza choices are delicious.
The pizza is definitely worth trying. I got a slice but definitely need to come back for a whole pizza. Since it was lunch, it was nice, quiet and quick. Staff was friendly and nice atmosphere. Need to come back during dinner, but would definitely recommend trying the food.

WOW what a really good pizza! From the hand tossed thin crust to the tasty sauce and the fresh toppings I enjoyed every single bite of the Balboa the Favorite that I had. I will go back again.

First time in here. So in all fairness, the A/C was not working, it was a hot day, so there was a portable unit right inside the door, it was still hot in there, and loud.
I felt bad for the servers.
The pizza was good. We did get a pasta dish to try, however, the noodles were way over cooked which really ruined the whole dish, I think they were pre cooked, then reheated, not good, suggest they cook to order all the pasta dishes. All the workers seemed like they were just done and wanted to go home. It was just an ok experience. We will probably go back and try the calzone, it looked really good.

I was a huge fan of this place under its previous ownership, and I am pleased to find out that the food is still fantastic. Not much has changed, they give you a lot of standard pizza options, and the ability to create your own pizza for a pretty reasonable price. Lots of drinks to choose from as well. The setting is casual, but clean. Service is friendly and fast. I love their white sauce pizza with spinach and green peppers. I hope that they can add pasta eventually! Definitely coming back here, my favorite pizza place in Vancouver.

Greeted by a friendly man named Alex, he guided me through the menu. Nice that you could order a custom single slice or two. And pick your toppings! When they arrived they were hot and looked great, and were much larger than I had expected. The crust is thin and tasty! They even had an Italian wine Montipulciano which is a little unusual for a small restaurant, so I’m enjoying my visit. Keep the small restaurants open!

Ate here tonight with a buddy. Dan the owner is very personable and he also owns Kiggins across the street. I asked him what’s great and he suggested the Stromboli. Honestly I’ve never tried that before and I’m so glad I did! It was totally incredible. I ate the whole thing! I could tell Dan was impressed. Try this place and give the Stromboli a shot… You will love it!

This is my new favorite pizza place. The GF crust was perfectly crunchy/chewy and the toppings were high quality. I got my pizza to go, but I would definitely go back and sit in the restaurant, it had a nice, classy, romantic ambiance. Lastly, it was affordablly priced.

How about posting online that you guys are temporarily closed instead of leaving people thinking you are open? Mom drove all the way from Portland after Work just to get this Place for us because we all wanted Calzones and she pulls up to the Place to find that they are closed!!!!! I cannot tell you how unbelievably pissed off I am. I am so Damn Mad. So thank you for ruining our Day and Dinner.
