I’m Yore Huckleberry!
Went here with a group of 6. We were seated promptly. They have a really nice outside deck with a creek running along it. Portions can best be described as gigantic. The nachos are the best example of this. Service was really great! There is some food that is gluten-free, but less than most places.

Tamarack Brewing was a decent dinner for our group coming up from Polson. Serving sizes were massive and the different dishes we tried ranged from okay to great. I appreciated the large selection of brews available and quick service as well. Not sure I’d do the 45 minute drive up from Polson again for the meal, but fun to try.

Incredible bar and atmosphere! Bloody Mary Sunday is a great deal. Make sure to come by from 11-2 for a good time. While it’s not on the lake, there’s outdoor seating in the back patio near a peaceful creek. Food options are classic Montana Brewery special. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Beer and food so good I bought the shirt, yup I did it. The service was incredible, food was perfection, nachos to the moon! And the burgers and salads oh so good.
Great indoor and outdoor seating by the creek leading down to the lake. Plenty of parking and really great people willing to go above and beyond to time the food and grab that shirt… I’ll be back for sure.

I was on a solo trip that started in Denver and took me through the national parks, and by the time I got to Lakeside, I was starving. My Airbnb was in nearby Proctor, so I decided to stop by.
It was pretty packed, but being from San Diego, I’ve been craving enchiladas for a while, so I figured, why not? I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect much. Getting enchiladas in the middle of Montana felt kind of like ordering a bison burger in San Diego…you just don’t do it expecting greatness.
But honestly? They were better than expected. Definitely not the best I’ve ever had, but way better than I thought I’d find out here. The only thing I’d change is the mountain of tortilla chips. I get it, us Mexicans like tortillas…but not THIS much
Since it was also my birthday, I tried the white chocolate blueberry cake. Super good, but huge, so I had to take half of it back to the Airbnb.
All in all, a pleasant surprise. Would I tell my friends back home this is a must-stop for enchiladas? No. But for middle-of-Montana enchiladas, it definitely did the job.

Food only gets a four because the wings were a bit over cooked, but still were served on a bed of fries for 18.90. Very VERY reasonable pricing! portions were great- and so was our server-Kyle! Definitely will be returning. Outside was a bit chilly but there was a lovely stream running through! Will probably choose inside next time. Very thankful for the positive experience after leaving Harbor Grille earlier this evening. It was a refreshing new change- and everything was phenomenal.

Tamarack is a very quiet brewery that serves a variety of craft beers and a wide selection of entries to include a bison burger. The staff are the best and ready to meet your needs and answer any questions you have. A mountain vibe, the distillery is located of the main drag on a small stream. The porch has plenty of seating as does the inside.. You can hear the traffic but the atmosphere outweighs the light sound of the traffic. You can walk down to the stream and walk along it for a short distance. When we visited it was late spring and the crowd was minimal. The area this establishment is located on the outskirts the city of Kalispell. Our waitress Ariel was awesome and took excellent care of us. You will receive a fair amount of food for the price you pay. We ended up taking food home. Bathrooms are clean and parking is ample. This is rated five star because I left felling good and enjoyed the stay.
