My husband and I had an absolute Stellar visit here. Excellent friendly service could not have been better. I had meat and mushroom pasta dish sauce was thick and tasty pasta was al dente. Perfectly delicious!
Husband had baked spaghetti and cleaned the plate.
Yuengling was served ice cold next to a frozen
mug. Perfect- going the extra mile

Since moving to Tavares from New York I have been searching for pizza that looked, tasted and felt like true New York pizza. While there are a few in the area that claim to be NY style, I must say the Mount Dora Pizza and sub on old 441 is definitely as close as it comes and is well worth the trip. Pizza was excellent and I will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Ordered the Turkey sub for lunch and I have to say I haven’t had a sub this delicious since I left Michigan in the 70’s. The roll was nice and crispy, and the sub was like eating from a fresh market. It just had lettuce, tomato and onion and the dressing was, exceptional. I will be getting this sub all the time now. Also, their mushroom with meat sauce pasta is just a delicious and the pasta is very light. Can’t go wrong with any of the food at this place

Good pizza and great service. I ordered a house salad and didn’t care for the shredded lettuce. The pizza was good and beer prices good. I tried the calamari at $14 and was real disappointed. It was the frozen thick battered type that only taste like fried batter. I won’t get that again. They are always busy with limited work space behind the counter but they get youe order out quick.

On Tuesday, October 14th 2005 I went to this restaurant with my daughter. The food was good. The pizza was good. Prices were reasonable. The only complaints I have is that the jukebox wasn’t very loud and for some reason, it didn’t play the songs that I put my payment in for. Lastly, the service was fine until the end when we had to wait like 15 minutes to get the waitress to take our payment, which was kind of strange because it wasn’t that busy.

Ordered for takeout. Tasty food. Appears popular because the place was packed on a Friday for lunch. All seats filled. That’s always a good sign. I forgot to take pics, but the main claim to fame was a calzone. Was good, but not our thing. Way too much for two people. I will try pizza next time.

This place is so good. Its always busy but service is grear. Drinks are always refilled and food is served hot. Servers are really nice . I had a build your own pizza and it was delicious. Kris had the hot ham and cheese. Huge portion of fries. I really recommend this restaurant for pizza.
