We’ve been dining at The Frog Pond for years, and it’s always been one of our favorite spots. After the devastation of Hurricane Helene, we were heartbroken, but seeing it brought back to life has been nothing short of inspiring. The remodel is stunning. The new place is fresh, bright, and full of energy, yet it still honors the charm and character of the original with thoughtful touches of the old décor.
On a recent vacation, we loved it so much we went back for a second day. The food is just as delicious as ever, and the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which makes every visit feel like coming home. Their hollandaise sauce is made fresh daily and is absolutely amazing. The signature Krab Benedict is still a standout, and the imitation krab they use is top quality; this is far better than anything you’d find in a grocery store.
Portion sizes are generous and perfect for sharing. Our family split the Bananas Foster Waffle, was so buttery, with flavors that melted together beautifully. Whoever came up with that deserves a culinary medal. We also had the Jacques Cousteau omelet both days, adding spinach for an extra layer of flavor. Paired with that hollandaise? Out of this world.
The Cinnamon Roll French Toast remains a kid favorite. They were sweet, satisfying, and just as good as it’s always been. Their sides are just as impressive: real potatoes, fresh tomatoes, and everything cooked with care.

Ok seriously this place has the best breakfast in the entire area! Look at the size of this fresh made biscuit, and they have homemade jam that goes with it. Their fruit and their omelettes are to die for! I bring everybody I know here and they all fall in love.

Best brunch spot on the beach! So glad they were able to open back after Hurricane Helene. The original eggs Benedict is my go to and it did not disappoint. The portions are good sized and the prices are just right!

I was randomly in the area for work and stumbled upon this fantastic place! Great food, service, and atmosphere. Probably the best veggie egg white omelette I’ve ever had. The “small” fruit bowl was large and had a wonderful variety of items. Lindsey was my server and she helped make my visit special. Thank you to the Frog Pond team!
