Freshly made food, we had Aloo Baigan which came with rice and naan. We later ordered hotel masala chai (tea). Food we delicious . The waiter was very polite and helpful, kept checking on us. The vibe was nice with beautiful music playing in the background. Can’t complain of anything

Friendly staff, nice looking restaurant, reasonable prices for the location but… terrible version of classic Indian dishes. I have no idea what the chef was thinking, but neither our dal makhani or our chana masala had any flavour to it. They were both just a greasy, buttery mess with no spices or seasoning. I’m wondering if this is the Greek version of Indian dishes and maybe that’s why they lack any authenticity? In any case, do not recommend!

Hole in the wall kind of place, nothing fancy, it was close to syntaga square. I Ordered two types of biryani along with tandoori chicken. Food was decent, tasteful done, bit large portions for one person and reasonably priced for the location. Service was a bit slow otherwise, everything was good.
It was within walking distance to king George hotel and the train station.

Babaji Indian Food ✨
Tried the chicken biryani , and it was flavorful, aromatic, and satisfying — a great choice if you enjoy rich spices and warm Indian comfort food.
Also had the avocado salad , fresh and light, a nice balance next to the biryani.
A tasty mix of hearty and refreshing dishes — definitely worth stopping by .

Food was incredible… we ordered Bhindi, Aloo Methi, and Dal Tadka with some tandoori roti. The taste was beyond our expectations. However, the staff did accidentally mess up the order and got us Aloo Gobi instead of Aloo Methi. It would’ve also been nice if they had matched the authenticity of the food to the music. I’m personally a fan of hip-hop, but it just didn’t seem appropriate for an Indian dining experience.

Its my first time trying indian food and this place made my experience the best.
I didnt know what to order and the waitress helped me with a recommendation that was delicious.
My vegan friend also enjoyed the food and was happy with their vegan options.

Loved to be here. We visited thrice while our three days stay at Athens. Taste of the food was amazing along with the quantity. They prepare fresh Mango lassi and it was awesome. Would definitely recommend to visit if you’re looking for cost effective and tasty Indian food. Also located nearby shopping street so you can walk by or could also reach by public transport

Great Indian restaurant though not 100% authentic but flavors are still there. Staff is wonderful specially the manager who works alongside the staff everytime I visit. Place is always busy and slightly tight but the service is quick. A bit on the pricey side for Indian food but great quality and hygiene. Portion sizes are appropriate with each dish having a side of rice. The open kitchen is also nice to see the chef at work.

Found this little hole in the wall in the central Athens area, just steps from our hotel. Fantastic Indian food, as good as any we have had all over the world. The prices are surprisingly low given it’s location and the portions are extremely generous. The speed of the food coming out was nothing short of amazing. Less than 10 minutes from ordering to having everything on the table. Appears popular with locals. Highly recommended if you’re in the mood for Indian food. We will go again before we leave Athens. On par with the best US Indian restaurants, and better than most!
Update: came back again and tried different dishes and again we’re not disappointed. Might come back again
