12/2/25 Wonderful stop! Had great service from Grace and the food was amazing. You won’t regret the Apple cider vinegar calamari, smash burger or fish and chips. The espresso martini was delicious!
I was unsure what cocktail to order. I told Stewart my vibe and he made me a white Negroni. Perfect.
Ordered the calamari app then lobster roll and ahi tuna salad. Amazing.
10 out of 10. Would recommend.
We ordered the UK style fish n chips and I love that it’s served inside a brown bag! Their fish was really fresh and the fries were good too. I wanted the lobster roll but it was a bit pricey at $40. That’s $10 more than other restaurants.
The fish tacos had a pretty presentation and was good too. The addition of the jalapenos was nice. We didn’t like the Old Bay macaroni side salad though so don’t recommend ordering that.
We had a fantastic experience at Drift in Essex. The atmosphere is great, but the food and drinks are what really make it worth the visit. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and every dish we ordered was fresh and delicious. Thanks for stuffed olives!
What truly stood out was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and you can tell the restaurant is run by a very hard-working couple. Their dedication to the business really shows in the details and the warm hospitality.
We definitely will be back when the snow melts and the views are back!
Overall it was an excellent pit stop. We split the squash donut ring, which were AMAZING. I got the seared scallop roll, I forgot what my wife ordered but she enjoyed it. My only nitpick would be the scallop roll, while great, was a little heavy on dry bread at the bottom. But I scoffed it all down so what do I know. Clearly it wasn’t a dealbreaker…
Our bartender was great and his cocktails were tasty. I forget his name but it was a Sunday afternoon so kudos to him for being a good bartender for Drift.
Overall it’s definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.
Our server was Grace and she was attentive and she was able to answer any questions we had.
My go-to is always the calamari. It was good, usually I have it fried extra and I chose not to this time. If I were to ever order again, I would definitely have it fried a little bit more. But that is a personal preference.
I really like the sauce that came with it and it was a good serving. Two people could share this.
Nice view of the Marina. It was really busy within a half hour of us arriving.
I also ordered a side Caesar salad which was good.
Coconut Water Mojito was my drink of choice. It was very refreshing, but not a drink I would order again-personal preference.
My bestie ordered the seared Ahi tuna with a Glass Garden to drink.
My bill with tip was $50
Easy parking and there are many shops surrounding Deep River.
The staff is kind and prepared, it’s clear that the owner loves his job.
He asked to every guest if everything was good, he spent his time just to make you feel important.
I suggest this amazing restautant to everyone
