This is an excellent example of how barbeque (smoked) ribs should be!
NOT “fall off the bone” (overcooked) but a slight “tug” gets a bite off. Bandana’s ribs are usually very good — and sometimes they’re exceptional.

We have tried this spot out 5 times now. Four take outs and 1 dine in. My wife and I split a half rack of ribs with two sides and 2 slices of toasted French bread for $22! The customer service is consistently been perfect. I highly recommend this location. It is very well run!

Delicious food with a very hospitable staff. Andrea was incredibly nice. They don’t have cake, it’s settled and everyone is BIG sad about it, including myself. Supposedly the pie is bomb, which come find out for yourself. Great location with a delicious selection of meats and sauces. Right off the interstate and conveniently located next to the main travel arteries and hotels. Always a quite environment with a small selection of beers to enjoy with your food, but a great place to bring the family and affordable. 5/5

I ordered the brisket, it was a little dry, and cut into small square pieces, usually brisket is sliced into thin pieces. The beans were fantastic and a good potato. I will try something else next time.

We were recently traveling through Collinsville on a road trip and needed some quick, yet half-way healthy and tasty food for us and the kids before checking into our hotel. Came across Bandana’s becuase it was close to the hotel. I agree with some of the other comments that if you’re a local looking for great BBQ, you’ll probably find better in the city, but if you’re traveling and want something close to the hotel, you can’t go wrong here. The BBQ was really good, my large order was correct (which is very important for take out for a starving and tired family), and the overall ordering process was easy and quick. We drive through the area a few times a year and Bandana’s will definately become our go-to place around Collinsville.
