The only thing I’d caution about is the spice level. The dishes we tried were extremely spicy; even for me, someone from South Asia who’s used to heat. I’d recommend ordering medium spice so you can really enjoy the flavors without it overpowering the food. For starters, I tried the Paneer Tikka and Cheese Dosa, both of which were good and earned a solid 4/5. The highlight of the meal was the Delhi Kabob, which was outstanding and easily the best dish of the night—a full 5/5. The garlic naan was also good at 4/5, though it arrived after the BBQ dishes, which felt a little out of sync even I asked them to bring it with BBQ. For mains, I had the Prawn Masala and Chicken Makhani, both flavorful and worth a 4/5. Chicken Makhani was better, but chicken was bit thinly sliced.
The only small downside was that the server didn’t offer a discount for the laee naan, which would have been a nice gesture and left a stronger final impression. Overall, I’d rate the service at 5/5 and the food at 4/5. If you’re in the mood for good Indian food in Cary, this place is definitely worth a try—just go for medium spice so you can savor it fully.

I had high expectations coming in, especially after seeing the many positive reviews. The food was okay, but not quite as exceptional as I had hoped. The Chennai Street-style Chilli Chicken had a great sauce and flavor, but the meat itself was tough and not tender. The Chicken Chettinad, however, was excellent—spicy and flavorful without being overpowering. The Anjappar Special Goat was a bit disappointing as it had a strong, gamey flavor. The Chicken Biryani was good.
The Malabar Parotta was a pleasant surprise; it was similar to the type you’d find in a typical vegetarian hotel with a side of raita and kurma, and it brought back fond memories of my time in Tamil Nadu. A note on the lime juice: it was far too sweet, almost like a concentrate. I had to mix it with a bottle of water to make it drinkable.
I was also a bit let down by the menu, as I had driven 150 miles from Charlotte hoping to try some specific dishes like deer, crab (Njandu), or fish (Nethili) that were not available on the menu provided at the restaurant, despite being listed online.
Overall, it was a mixed experience. I travel for food, but don’t know whether I will be tempted visit this place again.
