My nephew loves the super carnitas burrito so I come here often for him. I called them at 8:58pm and without hesitation she took my order and said they would stay open waiting for me to arrive. They left all of the condiments out, and were very friendly. Most places close minutes earlier and are disgruntled if you come in right before they close but this establishment was very accommodating.

Super bland asada, cold cheese in the burrito, tortilla was too big for what they put in it. And honestly I didn’t see any guacamole or sour cream in the super burrito I paid for

It was busy, so we assumed it was good, but it was just, “okay.” We ordered a carne asada & shrimp super burrito. There were only (3) shrimps, and we paid an upcharge of $5. The burrito itself wasn’t bad, but it was just average.

If you order a quesadilla ask for them to cut it into pieces . Also they did not drain the oil the quesadilla was soaked in it .

I ordered this through Door Dash and boy were they fast. I ordered the Super Burrito with no tortilla and whole beans not fried to make it a burrito bowl! It was PERFECT! I got full too!

Easy to order. Not too busy, but very popular restaurant. The super burrito was very good. Three asada tacos are filling if you want a quick bite.

Ok let’s first start out by saying, amazing! So I happened to call in 15mins before closing time which was 9pm. I ordered a taco truck burrito with 2 Asada tacos about $7. My burrito was sooo good that I literally forgot to take a pic before hand because I was so hungry. Anyways my burrito had Asada, carnitas, avacado, cheese, sour cream and extra Chile Verde salsa only. I tell them to put the refined beans and rice on the side not inside my burrito. It costed about $15 but man was it delicious. The asada tacos my daughter order were so good that she devoured them before I could finish my food and normally she takes forever to eat them which is a sign they were delicious. They have a salsa bar just ask for foil to get the condiments you like along your meal. I grabbed jalapeños, radishes, lime and extra salsa on the side which there salsa is amazing as well. They give chips to go as well. Definitely craving a taco truck meal but not close to one this is the place to get your fix. I’m already wanting to go back. Thanks San Jose Taqueria, food was magical.

This used to be my ALL TIME FAVORITE Taqueria. USED TO BE being the key point of that last sentence. I asked the young man who took my order for a “Burnt” quesadilla, and then went on to explain that I really mean burnt. Not “Extra Crispy” bc there isn’t a Taqueria Cook that takes that for what it says. I used the examples of “like a burnt marshmallow” and “I want it the color of Dark Chocolate”. He seemed to totally get it and said he would make sure it was to my liking. Although I made the order to go, I asked for some chips so I could have some of their cabbage salsa, that I always loved so much, and Modelo to wash it down with. I asked if it was a problem for me to sit on the front patio and if I would be able to hear my number called. He said sitting outside was fine and that he would bring my quesadilla to me. So I busied myself with snapchat and laughing at the crazy line of cars for the drive thru at the Popeyes next door, when I realized it had been over 20 minutes since I placed my order and clearly I needed to go get it. I should have opened the Styrofoam container prior to even leaving, but like I said, the young man seemed to truly understand my order. I got a mile down the road before I opened the container to find a lightly toasted quesadilla resembling a normally cooked item, not a burnt one. I then called the Taqueria and the young man said, “oh yeah, I watched him cook it! It was really burnt wasn’t it??” Speechless was what I should have been, but I spoke and should probably call and apologize tomorrow. To top it all off, the bottom tortilla was completely inedible due to how soggy it was. Others may be OK with that consistency, I am not. Hence the “Burnt” request. And that bottom, soggy tortilla was where all the cheese and meat was. The one true meal i had all day, and i would have been better off starving and saving my $10. There is only 1 place I know that will actually make my food to order (taco truck Empire), I should have just gone there. Today’s Taqueria San Jose experience will undoubtedly be my last.

Breakfast Burritos are the best. My husband loves the menudo. We usually go Saturday or Sunday before 10am because menudo will run out! The girl in the register is always super sweet and has a smile on her face. I’ve never experienced anything negative coming here. Definitely recommend!

I ordered an adobada burrito and honestly, the meat was disappointing I could see char on the meat and there was no flavor. My friend got carne asada tacos and had no real complaints. I’ll likely give them one more try. The staff was friendly. Wait time altogether was about 10 minutes prior to noon on a weekday.
